Aaron Abke is Pro-Trump

75 posts in this topic

Spiritual teacher Aaron Abke appears to support Trump. At least he isn't openly a zealous MAGA supporter, but I always knew there was something up with the guy.

He says in these comments "It is our opinion that God is using Trump to expose the deep state, the division in our country, and spark a movement of awakening towards unity."..."I think Trump was far and away the best president of my lifetime."

Yuck. What a joke. Now I can't take him seriously anymore.

Another one bites the dust. :P

Funny how everyone always thinks their own actions reflect the will of God. It's obviously true in an absolute sense. But in a relative sense, it's a dangerous way to live your life that's caused countless atrocities.

WTF is this?

Looked him up, looks fake AF.

Its not that deep.

One can write a script about how these gurus would react to a given situation , becuase most of them are incredibly predicatable and most of the time they apply 0 critical thinking.

Its all incredibly easy - if its aligned with anit-establishment then they will go with it and they will like it and they will put it in some fancy divine narrative; If its pro establishment then they will reject it and they will probably say that it is from the deepstate.

So far, I have only seen Bashar not being completely brain broken. I have seen that guy sometimes giving pro establishment takes and I think accurate takes on covid vaccines as well, which is huge given that 90%+ of his audience are into all kinds of anti establishment conspiracies (and it would be convinient for him to lean into that).

Read the comments.

To be clear though, I think Bashar is way too dramatic here and I dont think his predictions are reliable and they shouldnt be taken seriously in any way  , but its still funny seeing his audience rageing about him not fanboying Trump.

I remember (maybe a year ago) seeing a YT short or TikTok from him after I'd known about him for several years.

And in the short, I forget specifically what he was saying.

But he seemed to be dog whistling some QANON talking points and the Jewish Question in a way that most people would miss unless they'd done a deep dive into far right rhetorical tactics.

I wish I remembered what specifically he'd said that make me go "Uh oh." But I can't say that I'm surprised at him being pro-Trump.

Edit: I found the TikTok...

Convinced yet that life is just a circus clown show. A light show for the dead. Go ahead and try to make sense of it; it will fail you every time. Something else will be in the news tomorrow, next week or next year to make you change your precious little mind about. Be prepared. I know I am. No surprises here. Only surprise will be if God appeared in form and say, tadaah, i'm the real God you've been seeking. Looking like the God of the clouds with satan next to him smiling with his gold teeth. That would shock the shit outta me. Or if the sky went to the ground and the ground to the sky.

It's always some evil "overlords", "elites", "higher ups" that no one knows about or has ever seen that are somehow controlling everyone and everything and actively plotting against them...they run wild with this narrative.

Yes, the royal "they".

It's an easy scapegoat to invoke to make people feel like they're fighting and evil and elite force together.

And all of that "scheming overlords" talk usually gets projected onto Jewish people.

Calling it Qanon is selling short just how old and complex some of these conspiracy theories are. I can't tell what the guy in the video is specifically talking about, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not about Jewish people.

They are old conspiracy theories, but not so complex. Qanon takes a lot of their Jewish conspiracies directly from Nazi Germany.

Hearing it now, it's not so clear that he's talking about Jewish people. But that's the thing with dog whistles. They're not supposed to be clear. They're meant to be taken in by each person according to what they think it means.

But it can be subtle signal to people on the far right that says "Hey, I'm one of you."

I just remember hearing that short last year and going "Uh oh. Not another one."

Sure, and just to expand on the potentials, it really depends on the conspiracy theorist who's making the claim. If it's an atheist or Christian right-winger, then you're correct that he probably is referring to Jewish people. If he's heavily into spirituality, he could be referring to an elite group of humans who hail from secret societies and possess mystical wisdom. If it's a believer in UFOs and everything associated with that, it could be a reference to non-human beings secretly running the planet. And if he's into both spirituality and the UFO topic, it could be non-human mystical beings.

I'm guessing you're most familiar with the beliefs of the typical right-winger. I'm just pointing out that sometimes it takes on different forms. But I guess you're correct that the underlying psychology isn't so different.

It is the same archetypal story.

But my ears tend to prick up when I hear it because it is often used to demonize and marginalize real people.

And if someone starts with "the lizard people are in government and are controlling us", it probably won't be too much longer until they transition over to a more tangible real-world enemy.

I agree, I can see how the general mentality has the potential to go awry, as it has on multiple occasions in history.

@Wyeth Someone actually linked a video of his in the facebook group I am in like a month ago, and already back then I felt that there was something icky about that guy.

@Leo Gura I remember you mentioning a few times how people criticise you for  being arrogant and over confident about the things you teach.

I don't know what it is exactly but somehow when you talk about God and spirituality, or even politics, with "confidence" – you sound okay to me. But when guys like this one talk about mass awakening, or being beyond politics and having a more nuanced view of things than the average person, or just in general try to sound all high and mighty, and super spiritual – they seem so sleazy and full of shit to me, it literally makes me cringe.

It's like: yes, you might come off as overconfident sometimes, but you always seem like you do it with integrity and like there is an actual reason for you to be so confident about it.

@Emerald what's you opinion about what the says in the first half about the soul needing to reach the perfect balance of love and wisdom? If we ignore the second half where he start giving examples.

To me it seems like these are just empty words, meant to sound super spiritual, but without any substance to them.

"Soul is meant to achieve a perfect balance of love and wisdom"

Really, why? Who said that?

"Because otherwise you light will be taken advantage of?"

Why does that matter? Why should we concern ourselves with survival worries, and base our spirituality around that, when talking about soul (adopting his concept of soul for the sake of a discussion)?

Why should there be balance? Why can't we just max out on both? Or max out on love and have just enough wisdom? Saying that there should be a balance, implies that love and wisdom are opposites, like ying  and yang, like acid and base, why would that be the case? Why can't they complement each other independently?

@Wyeth Do you know if by "We" he is talking about his company / whatever, or if he refers to himself?
