ER was traumatised and severely neurotic in general.

It’s not just being an incel, it was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I expected an explanation. It's OK, there's nothing to prove.

Tell that to these family members that this incel was just over complaining. Just one extreme example of which there are others that didn't take other's lives along with their own.

Eliott Rodger had a strong racial inferiority complex about his looks, which is something that people often don't factor in when they talk about him, especially when this first happened. At least some people are talking about it now though. He was half East Asian/ Half white. (It's all there in his manifesto.)

I am biased toward that sort of look as I'm half Chinese/ white myself, but that attitude/ personality though...

Not sure if his mother was a self-hating Chinese woman and/or if his father was racist in any way, but this tends to have disastrous results on the self-esteem of their children. Eurasian boys and men learn to hate the Asian in themselves (internalizing that East Asian men are unmanly/ sexually undesirable), as he did.   It's extremely sad, really. On top of that, coming from two or more cultures, especially ones with very established identities that do not easily reconcile with each other -- it can feel like you're being pulled apart in different directions from the inside, and often we feel we belong nowhere. Factoring in your upbringing and where you grew up (especially if it was predominantly white or East Asian, if you're Eurasian), it can be a very isolating and destabilizing experience.

It's worth noting that this happened before there was an uptick of Asian and half-Asian men in media and movies like "Crazy Rich Asians", so there really was an "Asian underrepresentation" and Asian men did still tend to get typecasted as dweeby/ unsexual/ unattractive.

He had many insecurities. The key issue was because of his autism he had difficulty socializing and because of his untreated schizophrenia he obsessed over specific insecurities and developed anger towards the world

You can find easily on google. He was very socially isolated, suffered from autism, didn’t had good relationships with his parents…

It’s really a cocktail effect.

Do you think he's the only one. This forum alone has similar stories. Most don't go around committing mass shootings. They just kill themselves and themselves alone. Point is, men will kill themselves out of loneliness. Just this forum alone shows how men take it very hard when they're not in relationships with women.

Do you know men who kill themselves « just » for that.

In general what prevents people to being social is their ego, but ego will also inhibe suicidal thoughts.

Maybe more years and maybe more experiences will or may not reveal to you that this is only a belief system, assumptions and speculations. When you meet that hot girl who hates penetration and that guy that gets excited with a finger up his butt(not gay), you'll change your mind. Until then, keep speculating, just don't be surprised when it happens because I told you so.

Another thing, it's the fat ugly woman (whatever race) that craves penetration more than the hot chick. Ever seen that black dude with the big fat white chick on the beach in the funny memes and he's getting his green card through her...lol or go to a Chippendale male strip club you'll see a bunch of fat ugly women upfront screaming at those male gay guy bulges fantasizing about getting laid.

I’m not talking about gay people.

I think it's reductive to say men's loneliness is strictly tied to getting laid. Actually my friends who have had the most sex, with the most women have struggled a lot with depression and mental health. Many famous who have slept with thousands of women don't necessarily feel good about it although I would like to be in their shoes.

It doesn’t work to find an external solution for an internal problem

Yea, it is stupid. I think it was probably an American thing? I've never heard about this being an issue in Europe.

Ironically, one of the earliest American movie stars/ sex symbols was Asian (Sessue Hayakwa). Silent film era. He was made a sex symbol by American white women in the 1910s/early 1920s, though I don't think that was the intent of whoever cast him as a "dangerous foreign villain" in movies lol. Growing up, I had no idea who he was when he was younger, but I watched "Bridge over the River Kwai" (1957) with my parents.

This dude was a like a bonafide Asian Jock too.

It seems like everything fell off after this due to the "yellow peril" in America, and ever since then, it's been laundromat owners, dweebs, or martial artists. Martial artists are cool though.

My sister is very pretty and nice and still struggling to find a normal, good boyfriend.

The sex comment was more to illustrate the comparative lack of loneliness between men and women with the understanding that loneliness is primarily an internal factor.

I understand loneliness as the feeling that you are missing out on something, therefor it doesn't matter whether or not you are surrounded by people or getting laid a ton if it isn't relevant to that emotional desire.
