Mental Health Professionals are nothing but scammers

I’m not saying this lightly. I have seen it with my mom, have been with her to a ton of different therapists, psychologist etc. and etc.

And now that my wife is going through the same, looking for a good therapist, the same pattern is repeating.

99% of them are completely useless, do not know what they are talking about, rant, don’t have any form of system in place, can’t offer or point to literally any resources, have an inappropriate attitude, can’t offer any solutions whatsoever and charge a good chunk of money for it.

Scammers!

Mental Health systems around the world are fucked. You’re looking for help? Good luck. Your best bet is figuring yourself out, without consulting any of these clowns.

Not all countries. I have had decent experiences here. But they are operating from a certain paradigm so if you have problems that are outside of that it will be hard, for example they don’t know much about spirituality.

Yes,99% dont even know what mental illness is no refrence to it whatsoever, its like speaking to yourself and at the wall.Whole game is to speak until you realize something went wrong which can take one month or 15 years.Other thing to not just attack them, the nature of human psyche is so complex that only insanely great therapist can help the hard cases. But at the end of the day its on you to help yourself, which can be really hard to grasp since when somebody is mentally ill is automatically a victim of their own psyche.

I fixed myself since therapist was laughably less concious than i was at the time, which is not a brag but their lack of competency.

There is nothing safe with playing it safe.

As I said 99% are useless.

There are good ones out there, but finding them in this haystack of trash is difficult.

My impression is that it’s worse in the US

This post was more of an angry rant of years of experiences I made with my mom that I never really talked about before.

I do have compassion for these people, they are about as stuck as their patients sadly

Exactly. Ultimately you have to help yourself, I just wish the people supposed to „assist“ in this process would be better or at least remotely useful.

It’s beyond infuriating when every ( most ) mental health professionals are just the same tape over and over.

Today I really reached the threshold for what I could tolerate, hence the wording of my post.

Well I don’t live in the US, but from what I’ve heard they prescribe pills at a drop of a hat for just about anything.

So yeah. It’s definitely bad in the US

Well i told you the name of the therapy game:its you talking about the problem and they look to give some queastions, so you can see your own problem to infinity not actully giving solid advice or opening your eyes.Only greater therapist have better game than that, which is same as in dating/business etc. Only small %, everyone is a copy of another.

I’m aware of the game.

Ive witnessed it for over a decade.

I myself was never a patient or rather refused to be one after seeing how the system worked.

But. I went with my mom to her appointments and often times she wanted me to be part of what is being discussed, which is why I know it’s a complete waste of time in most cases.

If you want a good one you need to find a Jungian therapist who does psychedelics. Those are very expensive and a dime in a dozen.

Depends on your stage of development.

I only started finding the real healers after using psychedelics.

For most of them it's just a job.

Which is insane. Patients are just like another piece of meat to them, that needs to be processed and filed so they can get paid and they do a terrible job at it on top.

The payment structure should be made to reflect actual results and not amount of patients in my view.

Can be useful to do trial sessions with therapists before committing to working with them imo.

Find a set of therapists you like from initial consultations. Then do a session or two with each. That way you can get a better understanding of each therapist. Just deciding based off an initial consultation can be pretty challenging imo.

A wise man once said "Don´t take advice from people that their own advice hasn´t worked for them".

Basically any human that is not fully Enlightened, can not give advice or guidance of 'Life'.

You can find any professional that can give advices about limited things: money, sports, etc...

But when we are talking about mental health, we are talking about how to conduce the mental mechanism, which obviously puts us in the trascendental world.

So you can not treat something of unlimited capacity with limited knowing (academia, language, logic), which is what ultimately psychology does. It falls to the trap that the mind problem is something you can handle with limited tools and schemes.

Is not that they scammers, they just don´t know any better. They lack the consciousness to see and accept what they are doing.
