Asking someone their honest opinion about me

Hey, I remember coming across an idea that it would be useful to ask someone their honest opinion about me. I can’t actually remember if it was Leo, someone else or even a video. I think it was.

 

But yeah if anyone remembers that bit was on some video as an excercise, please let me know because I’d like to go back to it and hear how it can be brought up. I recall there was some good points. I guess reassuring someone that I won’t be offended, telling that I truly appreciate it and thanking for it in the end without latching onto anything is most of it.

Sounds kinda backwards to me. Surely, its much stronger to simply not care what opinion people hold of you, good or bad. I think in most cases, at least with acquaintances they don't really think that much of you.
