Will Trump be able to eliminate all free speech and all freedom of the press by 2028?

Trump and MAGA of course wants to end all of the mainstream media and punish any journalist or any government official who speaks out against him.

How much of free speech and freedom of the press can he destroy even despite what the 1st amendment of the Constitution says and the fact that the vast majority of Americans still believe in free speech and freedom of the press?

This is something we can't just figure out now. It's catastrophizing future events even before they happen (or not). At worst it's fear mongering. I don't like Trump but let's not go the deeper end and lose ourselves in this Trump rabbit hole. 

Focus on yourself is the best solution. Don't fall for your inner mind baiting you. It's just intrusive thoughts. 

We should discuss and engage conscious politics but we should not let the negativity rot our brain.

Please cite articles directly related to your queries that's not TDS solely made to give them clicks or post in the journal section. At least then we'd have something tangible that we could actually address instead of making us chase ghosts.

It was the left trying to fact check and combat what they call "misinformation" that kicked all this off. Granted there is misinformation out there pushed by the right, but there is also misinformation pushed by the left.  It's dangerous to let one side control the narrative just because they believe they are right and their cause is just.

Trump is not going to dismantle freedom of speech.  Don't worry, you will be fine. Life goes on.  Bottom line , it's human nature for any large group of people to try to control the narrative and oppress their opposition. Checks and balances are important to protect us from our nature.
