what's that

That's where you can go to a person, talk to them about wokeisms and cuckisms, and have them treat you with love and compassion and help you cope with whatever traumas make you write about that stuff.

For free!

From beasts we scorn as soulless, in forest, field, and den,
the cry goes up to witness the soullessness of men.

Political correctness hysterias come in waves and set a new standard each time, it’ll happen again.

This is a scary concept. I'm old enough to remember the previous political correctness phase back in the 90s. It was a good amount more tame than this current one. I shudder to think of what the next one would be like.

I think it's more so what pronouns represent, which is something like a fanatical ideology. Or at least it's perceived that way, whether its adherents are actually crazy or not. Tolerance for that sort of thing has been diminishing, and it seems like everyone who once paid lip service would now rather distance themselves.

Anti-Woke people mischaracterize woke people a lot and effect other people with their BS.

Writing he, she, or whatever isn't a sign for fanatical ideology.

Also, if companies don't give options to choose pronouns, then it would mean that they were trying to appear progressive but now regressive.

What's harmful is Trumpism.

Well, like I said, it's perceived that way now, whether it's true or not. I happen to think the truth falls somewhere in the middle, with ideas that appear nice on the surface but end up being somewhat harmful in practice.

Sort of. I view it as they were once neutral on the ideology, then tried to appear progressive, and are now attempting to go back to neutrality. It may not be possible, because, as you say, it will be labeled as regressive.

You said it yourself. They tried to appear as if they cared about something

Companies are always trying to act like they're on the side of the people and virtuous, and they end up coming across like fake ass kissers with no integrity. "The customer is always right".

I never thought the companies went "woke". They were obviously trying to capitalize on a trend, and apparently, it backfired. I remember when gays started appearing in a ton of ads several years ago. Not once did I think those companies truly cared about gay rights or were trying to force gaydom upon me. I was perplexed by it though because it seemed very risky, but I figured they had some data that I didn't. Either way, I assumed they were doing it because they thought it was good for profit, not because they cared about the cause.

If truth is the guide, there's no need for ideology, right or left.

Maturity in discussion means the ability to separate ideas from identity so one can easily recognize new, irrefutable information as valid, and to fully integrate it into one’s perspective—even if it challenges deeply held beliefs. Both recognition and integration are crucial: the former acknowledges truth, while the latter ensures we are guided by it.

Yeah, I think this is overall the truth of the matter. At the same time though, there's some true believers in my HR and other departments who feel a type of religious zeal about spreading the good word. So I guess the sincerity is a bit of a mix, depending on how aligned with the ideology the C-levels and employees are.

Yeah, good point. That makes sense. I was probably focusing too narrowly on the ones at the very top.

Wokeism = a bunch of overmedicated kids and depressed chicks wanting to tell others what to do and want others to be as miserable as them. Turning movies to shite. Companies turning woke for profit. Wokes still buying their hipster overpriced coffe from big coffee like starbucks and their iphone from slave labour in asia (no real values just confused virtue signaling) cancelling others for not agreeing. Being hypocritical. Dumb slogans like "down with the patriarchy" "white masculinity“ Thinking they are doing something important and changing the world.

Trumpism = a bunch of morons thinking they found their saviour (who is a complete narcissistic crook) Being very critical of the dems while giving a lot of leeway to Trump. Thinking Trump cares about them. Thinking Trump cares about anything. A lot of dumb conspiracy theories. Being hypocritical. Having dumb slogans like MAGA.

This is because most people didn't adopt these things because they progressed as human beings, but simply because they sought to fit into their social group.

This is the danger of stage green shaming tactics. If human progresses is based on fear rather than transcendence of old values through recognition of their limitations, then you only get a fascade of progress. This is why there have been so many "ex-progressive" during Trump era times, like Dave Rubin and his ilk.

Green was tryng to force progress too much while being far too dysfunctional itself. I have been talking about this for years now. Most of this dysfunction was fueled by social media.

Good observation regarding the progress that's built on fear producing shaky grounds. Definitely agree there.

I think it's also fair to question rather some of what we saw was actually progress. Does the line between genders really need to become so fuzzy? And does sexuality really need to be ambiguous and deviated from the animal-like drive for a male to impregnate a female and create new members of the species? I may not be the most qualified commenter, but in my opinion, that's a potential recipe for disaster, which could eventually end us. Messing with our act of reproduction on a large scale seems unwise.

What do you mean?

What is ambiguous about it?

Sure, creating new members of the species by impregnation is needed for the continuation of humans for now, but by that you can't conclude that sexuality is one type.

Anti-wokeness is dumber than wokeness.

"Family values" right?

I never experienced it but it makes me shudder.

In a way i do feel like wokeness became so big to destroy the left and their very tangible arguments about the rich, wall street, unions etc.

Wasn‘t it confirmend that troll farms supported wokeness (i mean division in general)

divide and conquer baby.
