The light and the dark

5 posts in this topic

Been thinking about the light and the dark. As humans we know dark from light through direct experience. But ultimately, it appears we may have been born out of darkness? The light waking up in the dark maybe? Or maybe I’m wrong because how can it be born out of darkness if we were born out of nothing? Dark is something… I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️ what do you think? Please help me make some sense of this. Why is it that light feels heavenly, but darkness feels like hell when it may have been the darkness that births us? Confused. Don’t wanna get people twisted up in darkness when they can crossover to the light 🤔

also heard it many times that the light is always buried within the dark. What you think?

I find it hard to imagine something that truly doesn’t exist. For me, everything is some form of being in one way or another. Darkness isn’t “nothing,” it’s just another aspect of reality. We experience light through contrast, and that contrast wouldn’t be there if there were truly nothing. Maybe light and darkness aren’t opposites in the literal sense, but more like two sides of the same coin, both necessary for us to understand each other. Light may feel heavenly because we associate it with clarity and growth, but darkness has its place too. It’s where potential can grow and change.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

I think we can know nothingness through deep dreamless sleep. At the time we know nothing but when we wake up we can point to that and know that nothing was there… but then we have good and bad dreams which imo points to the light and the dark that’s born out of nothingness

I see what you’re saying, but I don’t think non-existence truly exists. When we sleep without dreaming, it’s not like we’re experiencing “nothing” in a real sense. It feels like a state where we’re unaware, but we still exist, even if we’re not conscious of it. It’s as if we’re always part of a larger flow of existence, even when we’re not awake or aware. Dreams, both good and bad, come from our minds and perceptions, which makes me think that light and darkness aren’t born from nothing, but rather from our consciousness and our experiences of the world.

Anything the mind can comprehend whether darkness or Light is a construct to help us here in this dream make sense of life...., but outside of here; the concept of light or darkness may not exist.

To your question; you created light and darkness when you came into existence as God.
