Why solipsism is not Absolute

Might be too scared to think the latter.

🤣  There is not god. Your god is just a relative invention . The only god is the absolute and it's not "imagining" because if it would then it would be relative to the imaginary object. Forget that philosophy, it's false, just delirium

And another thing, being enlightened is not knowing some superstitions or "realizations" or "awakenings" about god, the absolute, etc, its the perfect alignment of your being, something that no one in this forum, including me of course, are even close, but at least we should try to understand what is it, not be lost in delirium

You still can't explain reality then.  You can't prove other experiences exist and yet you sit here and tell me they can.  Prove it then! Mad scientist!  Prove it if you have such a winning answer! Let see what you got..   I promise you it's not a lot.

Easy, in eternity any other experience different of your experience is going to happen right? How many? In eternity would be infinite. Where are them? In the future or in the past? But time is a dimension, a construction in the reality, then all of them, the infinite, where are? There are now, out of your perception, Infinite dimensions

Is that a given? No.  It's not sadly.

Look I wish I could agree with you in every way.  But I'm afraid your case simply isn't provable with physical evidence.   You can talk about it.  But that's pretty you much all it will be.  It's your opinion

Look guys ..it's as easy as breathing..

are you looking through anyone's eyes right now or just your own eyes ?

and pleeeeeease answer without cryptosemantics and smartassery ..allow the question to be as innocent and simple as it is ..

The answer is of course NO!

The follow up question would be then how do you know  if there is any other experience happening even in the most close person to you ?

In direct experience there is an experience of other people ..but there's no experience of other people's experiences. get that distinction clear . Therefore the most reasonable position to take regarding solipsism is agnosticism.

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

I once got a gift card from a friend. It said:

"The secret of life is to align your flow with the flow of the universe"

As of now, it's the best idea (direction) for me to follow. Anything else complicates things unnecessarily.

@Someone here  this whole thing is a dream and one can awaken from it.  Thus seeing that the eyes they looked through was an illusion to begin with!  They were really the whole thing! Both self and other!

Ans then what? You're awake - and then what?

But everyone and everything inside the dream are in full time job to keep you asleep.  Therefore we should respect the dream and live it . Don't worry about waking up ..that's inevitable..as any illusion by its very nature  can't sustain itself too much.   Im sure You already have seen numerous glitches in the matrix already .the full waking up is death . Solipsism is true from the absolute level possible. But a total horseshit from the most practical level possible. Embrace the paradox.

A lot of mystics much more wise than us talk about reincarnation, that this life is a path to equalize your energies, your mind and your heart to ascend to other dimension, that there is a serious work to do here. Maybe they are right, maybe no, but seems that there are something real in that line of though

OK.  Sounds like an honest answer to me :)

With all this talk in this forum one might expect magic.  But probably that's about it. Nothing except "Show must go on. Show will go on"

@theleelajoker   haha.  Magic is around you all the time.  Even now.  Awakening isn't going to be given to you obviously.   You'll have to work for that.  But it is promising.  I can tell you that.  More promising than a 401k or a retirement plan.  Although right now these things seem to be all that matters.   There is, still, another side

Honestly i would be lying if I claimed i know definitively what happens exactly after inevitable death of the body . Nobody will ever know except through direct experience of death .and that's the final say in this matter .

However...some people who go through NDEs claim to have seen a while light at a end of a tunnel and they met loved ones and they saw their body from above as if their "soul" has risen out of their body .

To me death is what makes people even think about these matters and get into spirituality. Because they don't want to accept they die like animals and that's the end of it all . Humans want to live forever in happiness. That's basically our ultimate goal .And that's what the spiritual path promises.

Solipsism claims "only my own experience exists; nobody else is conscious". It posits the concept of "my experience" as contrasted to "other people's experience". It therefore deals with the relative.

I've been avoiding so long replying to this thread lol... but the above is just not the case. Or at least not what true solipsism is. There's no contrast of "my experience" and "other experience". It's experience, which is the one and only. EXPERIENCE. The end.

There is no solipsism. Describing oneself as "a solipsist" is cretinic, perhaps even more so than not a solipsist. And yet solipsism is a good word. Or maybe Oneness or Aloneness would be a better one.

Every time I see a solipsism thread I am reminded of this meme:

But the text should be "Aww, sweet! A solipsism thread!"

I've got Infinity for a head and I have a hard time handling it.

Words can't describe You!

@Sincerity Solpsism is a terrible word and really doesn't explain things very well. It actually scares people away.  Oneness is a much better description.   Solipsism came into the discussion regarding non-duality because honestly it makes sense given non-duality.  But the case was oneness in other words everything and everyone was in your mind so how to verbalize this properly?

Well while the problem was there, there were no solipsists at that time to back up any sort of theory on Solpsism.   And so it just became something to be discussed over on Leo's forum.  But that's really it.  A silly term but it really signifies something powerful.   That self/other duality.
