Iraq, go to hell.

14 posts in this topic

Iraq's parliament recently lowered the age of consent from 18 to 9 years old. It appears that people in the Middle East are still adhering to outdated practices. Enough is enough with these bizarre laws and honor cultures. It is essential to advocate for change and promote values that protect individual rights and freedoms for all.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

Conservative Muslims in the Middle East are horrified by anything LGBT, yet they excuse adults having sex with and marrying kids because the Prophet Muhammad or some obscure tribal code permits it.

أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأشهد أن ليو رسول الله

Translation: I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and Leo [Gura] is the messenger of Allah.

Zoom out here. It’s best that they’re honest about their current stage of development, rather than masking it with progressive laws that they don’t jive with.

It’s so ironic because the majority of Muslims claim that it has nothing to do with Islam and that the Prophet Muhammad had no intimate intentions with a child, let alone a nine-year-old. Muslims are hypocritical in that regard, and the same goes for Christians, who are incredibly pathetic.

It’s good that they openly show they are fools, both for society and around the world.

They did not lower it, it is currently a proposal.

It’s still terrible that anyone could even consider such nonsense. The fact that they bring it up as something important only shows how backward they are. According to my country, it has been confirmed that the change has happened. But whether it has or hasn’t, it will probably happen, and even if it doesn’t, it’s still ridiculous to raise the idea for the country.

That's also how they see us.

Correct, but the majority at least has common sense when it comes to moral values. And the countries that can’t continue progressing for the better, when the majority has already achieved significant progress, we have every right to criticize. One thing that is common among people is that everyone wants to feel good, and Iraq has not succeeded in that.

It's a stage red society. You need more liberal youth in such societies to bring massive Awakening.. That's where Stage Green steps in. Such countries are breeding grounds for civil wars ad Infinitum.

I agree that societies like this need a shift, but change needs to happen in a way that doesn’t create more conflict or harm.

Islam is the kingdom of oppression. They need a revolution, like the french revolution or the Russian revolution. Maybe it starts in Iran

I agree. It’s unfortunate that I can’t express myself more about this, as I don’t want to risk getting a warning, but at this point, enough with the circus.

I'm from Iraq, and yes it is proposed but not agreed upon yet.

I believe in the religion of Love
Whatever direction its caravans may take,
For love is my religion and my faith.
