Pure non-existence

14 posts in this topic

Imagine an artist who has an idea for a painting but no physical paint or material on a canvas. Through their will, the artist can “create” the painting, not by using something that already exists, but by materializing their idea on the canvas. Similarly, God can create everything, including the material world through divine will, without needing any pre-existing material.

This perspective is quite intriguing, yet I remain unconvinced that true non-existence is feasible. I believe that consciousness holds the potential to create things that do not currently exist, and this potential has always been present. What are your thoughts on this? Can things truly arise from non-existence? Personally, I think the answer is no, but I would love to hear your insights. In this discussion, consider whether we are dealing with pure non-existence or simply potential existence.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

Of course, thats what the Self is, non existence.

Everything that you see, hear, touch, smell, is Existence/Karma.

Which is why Mystics told you: I am not this, I am not that.

The moment you identify with anything limited, you limit yourself: You created yourself into existence: You created the limited-ego self. ( = " 'I feel like I exist', but I don´t know exactly 'Where I am' or 'What I am' ")

If everything is the same substance, and is the same as nothing, then no material is needed for nothing to exist

It’s one thing to talk about these thing, another to become directly conscious of how everything is the same substance, that’s my goal

If God consciousness creates everything, then why doesn't God consciousness direct everything too?

Non-existence is literally in plain sight, I've posted so many pointers. If you don't see it, it's because you don't want too.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

Pure non-existence is not so pure. Even when this fractal spiral of dreams within dreams is transcended and pure empty being or para-being, empty para-consciousness is left alone without any content I wouldn’t call pure non- existence. Non-existence of content - yes, why not, but non-existence as pure nothingness is just a concept. Even if you dissolve your egoic multilevel structure and there’s no experience of anything left, the awareness of pure being remains. And this primordial awareness is not en experience of course. So, I would be careful with such claims as non-existence. Pure non-existence cannot exist by elementary logic.

Non-existence does not exist because you are always permeating nothingness to the last corner (metaphorical) of infinity, since you are infinite. not finite, not end. never. you are, that's it. reality is, now, and now is always, now is what exists, the time, before and after, and in the now, are appearances. you can understand exactly why you are always, its obvious, its because there are no limits, then you are, and you are total, everything.

it's absolutely impossible that it isn't, because there are no limits. you are unlimited. Its not something mysterious os alien, its you, now.

Which is the 'you' that you say that is always permeating nothingness?

So there are two things: You and Nothingness?

Haven´t you consider the possibility you are actually the nothingness? 😉

Therefore, Nothing has the quality that it has no quality, no manifestation and non existence.

Nirvana = Liberating yourself even from the process of 'existing' as something. Wheter that is God, Infinity, the Self, or a chimpancée.

As long as you Exist as something, you are entangled and in "Maya". 🙏

The nothingness is nothing, is a way to talk , there is only you, the reality, what exist

Nothingness is a realization that appears in meditation when the form dissapears, then the reality appears as absolute void, then you realize that even there is no form, always is you, the being, the absolute potential. That's existence.

@Javfly33 nirvana is a cessation of experience not existence. If some "meta-you" is in a state of absence of any  experience and pure being is only aware of it's own beingness that means that something is left. But here is a catch. Our language is not able to express "this something beyond any experience" because its construction does not take under consideration existence of such states, at least not an English language. Maya is precisely an attachment to experience which is built from its content. That's my opinion, of course, I don't know for sure. I perceive existence as logical to the core. Meta-logic is a key tool used in Jnana to dissolve Maya. Sometimes we confuse "counter-intuitive" with what we conider basic human logic. Leo's video of devilry is a good example. It's logical top-bottom. Sometimes our perspective is simply too narrow to be able to comprehend higher levels of meta-logic of existence. And there is nothing wrong with that, I struggle with that on my path, therefore I try as I can not to form absolute statements because the fact is that I don't know.

@Kuba Powiertowski Sure, but we are talking about removing You from the equation, not existence.

As long as you are gone, who cares if there is an existence left?
