Power is important if you want to raise collective consciousness

57 posts in this topic

Why do we considering ourselves more conscious than others when the fools have the most power, the most wealth and the most influence?

It takes selfish greedy despicable behaviour to reach the levels billionaires have reached, but this evil is necessary for spiritual work.

You’re going to sit here and be all peaceful, inactive, and spiritual while the fools take over the world?

We are all divided and not pulling together our resources and growing and becoming strong.

You need power you need influence you need money for world class spirituality.

Which one of you is running a multi billion dollar AI company?

We need the ambition to run a multi billion dollar high consciousness organization. Regardless of how unlikely and easily corruptible it is. It is still all necessary. We need everyone pushing for this and the end result will be progress.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Power, money, etc. can definitely help spiritually. It’s how the power and money is used which makes the difference.

The materialist paradigm might be helping the more religious and scientific type people take more action to get into places of power. There’s this idea many spiritual people have that you’re not supposed to engage in the world and are supposed to exclusively focus inwards. You need a balance of worldly engagement and personal persuits.

That's why Buddha, Christ, Muhammed, Krishnamurti, Ramana Maharshi, Elan Watts, Abraham etc... were poor right?

All the prophets and spirituality people life was level with only the survival needs.

Buddha was king, Muhammed wife's was the one of the richest woman in Mekke, Elan Watts was a philosopher and professor. Abraham was offered the kingdom but he refuses etc... you guys should read the history which is contemplation in order to comprehend entire Spirituality.

Sadguru and even Leo have participated in high consciousness business. And it all has an important role, but it’s just not enough to play the game at the world level. We need more sophisticated high consciousness, large organizations.

If a bunch of Christian radicals can take over the United States with the help of Donald Trump then there’s no reason we who consider ourselves more conscious than them, can’t also play this game intelligently.

We Should be able to play this game better than them. But we’re not..

And this is because something is missing in the practice.

We need to rethink the practice and really create a world class spiritual teaching that is applicable to this era.

We should be playing this game better than Elon and better than Trump, but we’re not.

I know this, they deliberately turned away from their wealth because pretty much everyone was poor and it wasn’t relevant at the time.
Poor people usually won’t just listen to someone talk about spirituality if they are living like a king.

@James123 No offense but I see you saying the same idea that “it’s just thoughts, ideas, concepts, etc”. if someone says something you don’t agree with. Anything we say is just a concept.

Money, which is the power is relevant since ego took place. Because ego=power.

Moreover, they were many riches and kingdoms those times. Mekke, Jerusalem were the one of biggest trader markets at those times.

Elan Watts were lived in the best time of usa.

Buddha's father had great relationship with another kingdoms.

Money and power is neutral. How are we supposed to provide abundance to the world without it. Until we get to a point where we let go of the need for money as a society it’s very significant.

Firstly, you should read all life's of prophets and spiritual people.

They have lost everything in order to realize what the path and share this with the world.

But, if you think you know better than or know what you doing better than those guys then follow yourself. :)

We have way more resources than people did hundreds and thousands of years ago so it's much easier to evolve way past their level of evolution. It's not about knowing better than someone, it's about updating your approach to whatever times you live in.

İ don't see any differences between Buddha's explanation/understanding about Truth and Alan Watts. 4 or 5.000 years differences.

But you do what you want to do. :) Update the society.

Peace!

Much love.

If you are making the Buddha and Alan Watts your spiritual teachers just know that the Buddha focused on one very narrow aspect of consciousness and Alan Watts took spirituality very intellectually, no offense to either of them.

There needs to be adaptability when it comes to spirituality or we are just going to turn spirituality into the same kind of dogmatic system as religion.

No adjustment can make you to realize the love and be in love.

The one has to walk the path and you can not do that with money.
