I pass a huge amount of time of thinking to random subject (otherwise i wouldn't have been insomniac and expert in everything lol) and i can daydream in general, but it's never close to what you can feel by being present and implied in a concrete stuff, in "real life".

So ok it's an escape from boredom, but in fine it maintains you in an alternative blunt world.

I would agree. We are made to interact with the world, I’m just built different.

You have to account for each of the 24 hours of the day

methodically and meticulously

The devil finds insidious tasks for idle hands

Night hours are the worst sink holes

There is a saying if you are bored you are in bad company, become your friend, because at the end of the day you only have yourself.

That's true.

Can start a solo hobby like painting, drawing, learn an instrument, reading fiction. Whatever takes your fancy.

Be-Do-Have

There is no failure, only feedback

Do what works

I never understood boredom either. Pretty much never felt it

When you check the phone how long till the meditation session will be over. That's boredom.

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, that you are Conciousness, and that you have only this one awareness - that you are at peace, and that you are.

I suppose this will be a loooong road. I’m steadily increasing my meditation time. My goal is to eventually do something like 4-5 hours a day. How about you?

I count my progress by how much those connected to me move forward. That's even a much longer road lol

What do you mean? Like how your loved ones progress determines yours

⁴Then let us wait an instant and be still, forgetting everything we thought we heard; remembering how much we do not know. ⁵This brother neither leads nor follows us, but walks beside us on the selfsame road. ⁶He is like us, as near or far away from what we want as we will let him be. ⁷We make no gains he does not make with us, and we fall back if he does not advance. ⁸Take not his hand in anger but in love, for in his progress do you count your own. ⁹And we go separately along the way unless you keep him safely by your side. It means nobody goes home until we all go home. It's a collective awakening that counts. Not the individual one.

@jacknine119

Mate we're all totally over-privileged skunks stinking up this world with all our fart jokes leading to China's pollution problems from our over investment in their cheap labour that has now turned them into a weapon where that expediency is now a gun pointed back at not only us but the rest of the world 🌍. We roam our nation, not the world, lost because we are without context and we must visit these overseas nations of millenia to instill us with wisdom that uncages us from our own misanthropic over-self justified distorted group think protests on nothing much more significant than whether one basketballer is the GOAT and the other is just "The Next Kanye running for President, but oh right we already had him and his name is Trump! That's the memetic irony, change the clothing slightly differently and voila, the public are fooled!", we create fields of entertainment plantations to keep us hooked on its outgrowths of illusion, beholden to the babies dummy that one day, we won't have to suck on its rubber anymore, this day my man, will never come. There's must be seen for the temporary glimpses into unfulfilled elation that they are. Let me paint a story for you that's important for me as well as I'm not totally devoid of its illusory COVID virus attack either.

So imagine this... You're walking through the vast, unrelenting desert of existence. The sun, merciless in its clarity, beats down on you... each step sinking deeper into a suffocating sandstorm of despair. Your soul feels parched, your thoughts frail and crumbling like a forgotten relic. Everything has been drained. The joy, the laughter, the endless distractions that once masked the void are now long gone, evaporated like dew under a noon sun, "I thought I had more? I thought there was more? I thought... And everyone else... Their smiles... What???"

This is the desert of life. The arid landscape where the disasters of humanity from its economies to corrupt systems, and endless loops of misery stretch out before you. Each day, you watch the same drama of human anguish, the rampant cycles of escapism, from numbing substances to compulsive distractions made social memetic trends so the Idiocracy is seen only through the marble ball of normalcy, all while everyone clings to their identity, forged in the fire of personal trauma, rebirthed together like a mini patriotic country under the guise of protecting free speech and human rights while neglecting true solutions to people's struggles with life.

But now, as you trudge onward, feeling the weight of your empty, wandering mind, something shifts in the boiling sand. Something catches your sweaty eyes. Could it be? A palm tree? An oasis? No, it can’t be. Your mind... hungry, starved for even the briefest taste of hope, rushes toward it. You know this is real. You’re drawn like a moth to flame, unable to resist. And as you approach, your heart leaps.

But then my man... just like that, the mirage vanishes. The palm tree, the oasis, the glimmer of people and life, all disappear into the vast emptiness. The desert laughs. You scream into the void, fists pounding the earth in bitter disbelief, and now the next UFO siting of genuine life meaning and purpose was just another hoax.

No. NO! It was supposed to be real!

And just as you are about to surrender to despair, something, some inexplicable force, lifts your gaze. A black box, sitting silently in the sand, beckoning. Your heart, now a dull throb, pounds once again with curiosity. What else is there to lose? You approach it cautiously, knowing this is the last option and that if doubt meets its darkest light, you may decide to just throw the game in and call this the final choice in a game that’s been "Playing you all along," you say.

You open the box, and a voice emerges from within. It’s not external. It’s your voice. It speaks with a dry, familiar tone, “Understand me, and I will give you the elixir of life, eternal entertainment, infinite joy, endless wisdom. I will make you whole.”

The catch? Of course, there’s always a catch.

You open it further, and instead of the promised treasures, there is only one thing contained inside.

What is it?

Guess before reading the rest.

Your own mind. At the center, a scroll inscribed with a cryptic message.

“Understand the creativity of me. Be set free.”

You laugh. It’s almost absurd. The one thing you’ve been running from, the very mind that trapped you in this endless loop of illusions, is now offering you liberation? The joke’s on you, isn’t it?

But wait, could it be?

Could it be that the very creativity that created the illusions, the desert, the mirage, the endless search, is the key? Could it be that all along, the ‘elixir’ was never in some external pursuit, but in understanding the infinite potential of your own mind, which created the desert to begin with?

You realize, with a flicker of clarity, that the mind, the creative force that shaped the despair and the distraction, is the very source of your salvation. Every step you took in the desert, every mirage you chased, every ounce of joy you sought, it was always within you, waiting to be tapped into, if only you could recognize it.

The desert dissolves as you look within. The mirage vanishes, revealing not emptiness, but an unfathomable expanse of creative potential, an endless playground of thought and possibility. The elusive elixir? It was never outside you. It was always right there, just waiting for you to understand it.

So here you stand, no longer lost in the desert, but free. Free to create, free to explore, free to shape your world... leading with ease from the mastery of one simple world, your own mind. The rest, as they say, is up to you. Didn't you after-all... Create the imaginative limits of this story in your own mind by turning digital symbols on a screen into a wondrous entrancing world that because of the power you gave each word, that same power because of the truth of its content, did what it was meant to? Thus, you were always more the desert than the one experiencing it; paradoxically. And that is a good way to end by providing you with the deepest truth I have in this micro context, and that is that it isn't that consciousness is an illusion as people say, no. This growing eastern to slowly western view has this as a misconception, unable to differentiate between intersectional consciousness formed by the temporal body and the Consciousness that remains deeper beneath these intersectional recursive feedback loops. By realising this to deeper and wider differentiation, the only endpoint is full masterful agency on regulation of your entire bodies feedback loops that dominate any feeling like boredom like an empty feather floating upon the ocean of your experience. You are infinite. So now spread your wings and go fly off into the endless dimensional sky of your own consciousness to learn how to watch your next incredible netflix series to cease the entourage of boredom you're possessed by through just simply closing your eyes, holding the suspense of your temporal bodily based mind and opening your inner eye with the simple intention to create this next blockbuster, sit back and relax then away you go. The mind is an endless oasis, and we invent myopic technological replacements because we've converted turning this into a social action into purely an introverted one and made the lesser technology into an addiction that has us forget all that our minds are capable of imaginatively.
