So.. why not get back to work?

This post is just a reminder.

I feel the forum (and Leo) are moving more towards political topics and moving away from spirituality and personal development.

And I get. Leo probably feels he needs to move on to another topics, but YOU?

Are you still doing the work?

 

- Do you have the results you expected 1/3/5/10 years ago?

-Awakening?

-Financial freedom?

-Great relationship/sex life?

-Life situation? Hobbies, fun, travel, home?

-Did you got rid of your addictions?

-What about your life vision? Your 5 year vision? Are you close to it? 

-Are you happier on a day to day basis?

 

Or you just got distracted? By Israel, by Trump, by porn, by the new thing, by Diddy, by solipsism discussions, my mental masturbation?

Are you trapped my media, the urgent, the shinny object?

Be careful!

REJECT current events.

EMBRACE the ETERNAL (meditation, clean eating, high quality reading and relationship, fulfilling hobbies, spirituality...)

 

- Are you meditating daily?

- Do you have planned an alone/meditation retreat?

- Are you eating clean and exercising?

- Are you investing in your long term-health?

- Are you trapped by the screens? Should you do a 30 day digital detox and revaluate your life?

- Are you reading high quality books?
Are you implementing what you learn on those books?

- Are you following a routine and doing DAILY your 3 keystone habits?

- Are in your path to mastery or just dabbling with life?
Are you just letting life pass, or are you making high quality decisions?

- Are you actively eliminating distractions?

- Are you living by your values?

- Are you having weekly/monthly checks on actions-goals-vision?

- Are you meeting high quality / like minded people?

 

Are you still doing the work?
 

Some people are here for ‘socializing’ and being less lonely, but for the ones looking to work on themselves and to improve their lives… don’t forget this.

Make a sprint toward the end of the year and achieve those goals you had set for yourself.

Don’t get distracted by the shiny current thing.

Thanks for the reminder. I am still doing the hard, emotionally challenging work, but still find myself falling off a lot.

The ones I resonate with the most:

-Reading high quality books daily, paperback or Kindle.

-I am eating clean around 90% and exercising.

-Medidating daily for at least 20mins.

-Learning/reading in spanish almost daily.

-Eliminating distractions and screen use as BEST as i can, using my phone as less as posible and not using It past a certain time in the evening.

-Being more mindful in the useless thinking and repetitive thought cycles I get caught Up in everyday.

Found this forum 5 years ago. 

I was just a college pothead gorilla back then.

In year 1 I meditated every day for 14 months straight. Had my first awakening on LSD Jan 2021. Then a shocking sober awakening in April 2021. Also read a stupid amount of books from Leo's book list.

Pivoted to dating and attraction from 2021-2024. Traveled to Mongolia in 2022 and dated 5 girls there. Went on some fun insta-dates while living in Vermont. Then moved to Arizona and dated a psychopath who squatted in my apartment for 2 months (pure hell, but also hilarious).

Now doing a deep dive into trauma healing literature and building my first personal brand to leave 9-5 wage slavery for good. Tried becoming a male model, D2D sales, and selling real estate coaching for a friend all in the past year. Everything failed epically. Been to hell and back.

Watched news nonstop over this last month. The results are what they are. You know you're beyond green when the emotional charge of politics isn't as great; you can simultaneously care, yet be detached from the outcome too. At the end of the day, if you're in this forum, you have bigger fish to fry then get caught up in the news shit storm. You know this.

In the next 3-5 years, I'm going to become financially free, travel to east and Southeast Asia (vagabonding, spiritual quests, etc), travel to South America for psychedelics and Latina women, and launch a personal brand in geology/nature exploration.

Until then, tomorrow is November 12, 2024.

Yes, those are 'basic' things, but at the end of the day are foundational for a good live, and is easy to fall off.

But as they say: 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

I had a similar one. Girls, business, failures, meditation, awakening...

I also relapse into shitty habits like social media or youtube, but is like meditation. Getting distracted and getting back to focus. And with time the distractions are less and less.

In my case I don´t watch the news much so I usually never get derailed by external circumstances except my internal cyclic ones 

I would say neither awakening, financial freedom, great relationship, addiction or travelling I have solved...LoL. 

I would say in Life Vision though I am def closer. So thats Good. Is the most important one.
