The Masculine Revolution

16 posts in this topic

Is it just me or does there seem to be a masculine revolution underway?

The feminist revolution of the 60s seems to me to have finally exhausted it's acceleration after nearly 60 years.

Meanwhile the masculine revolution counter swing seems to be rising, beginning with the alt fast seduction and pickup community in the 90s and now moving into red pill, Maga, proud boys, Andrew Tate, AZD, Rollo Tomassi etc.

I feel like men are at a choice point.....seek the higher masculinity and evolve or devolve into tribalism, gang violence and warfare.

Men seem to be lost looking for some lost sense of masculine community, which can be very dangerous if channelled in the wrong direction.

Evolution over revolution my fellow masculine travellers.

Strong point. That's how terroists' recruiting was so easily done. Lots of other situations where this is already taking place - the dangers of such lost of sense, that is.

Interesting take, I haven't thought about it in this way but I agree that there seems to be a sort of revolution underway. I'm hopeful it doesn't blow up in our faces, feminism really took a wack ass turn a while back

Enough of them were sold a lie by Hollywood about how women are sugar, spice, and everything nice. Many of them didn't have the confidence or social skills to really keep a woman satisfied and they got bored and moved on. These guys turned bitter as what they were taught about women by society didn't work. They don't tell men growing up specifically that they need playful banter and a rebellious, adventurous nature to be successful with women. This is something men have to figure out themselves.  The left has been white shaming also for years now.  Why should someone feel guilty of their skin color when you go back far enough on human nature everyone has enslaved everyone else? It's the leftist narrative peddling that brought on the counterculture movement just because of the preachy, naggy nature of the movement.  Shame on you for being masculine, white, a male. Shame on you for being conservative.  People don't want to hear that.  Counterculture movements are normal when the status quo become naggy enough  after they get enough power.

I’ve lived 30 years as a white male on this planet and I’ve never been «white shamed»… Not even once. Sounds like right-wing gaslighting.

This is not a race thing. Men of all races, religions and political leanings seem to be becoming more and more radicalized these days.

The left and right are both more radical. War is radicalizing by its very nature.

And when men are lost souls they are even easier to radicalize and be used for nefarious purposes like gang violence, terrorism, etc.

Actualized.org is one of the very rare channels / websites that promotes masculine evolution in a healthy, non-toxic, non color pill, non-feminist way.

Raising boys and girls to be mature and successful men and women has been neglected the last couple of decades. I don't agree its a revolution, more like floundering due to frustration and grifters and marketers seizing on that frustration. Men don't live under abject oppression, they just need better role models so its not equivalent to the feminist revolution in the same way.

This whole issue needs to be taken more seriously by society and not be turned into culture war brain rot. The majority of people are and want to be men and women and they should be taught how to.

I see it as a bit different than the idea of a Masculine revolution, simply because revolution means embracing radical change. And this "Masculine revolution" is really about the idea of resurrecting the old order.

With Feminism, it was all about breaking from long-held gender norms and embracing women's empowerment so that women can have political, economic, and personal power.

With this new pattern in men, it's really about reinforcing what is and going back to what was.

It's basically a counter-revolutionary reactionary movement against the revolution because many men believe that things would be better for themselves personally if we went back to a time where women were still beholden to traditional gender norms and men 'were taught to be men.'

In reality, it's a coalescence of men who feel a sense of obligation to match up to impossible to reach Masculine gender norms, who feel a sense of shame around "not being good enough" or "not being Masculine enough."

And in these online groups, men collectively channel the shame and rage at the illusion they hold around women's adjudicating power of how well they conform to the Masculine ideal or fail to conform to it. So, they feel women get to validate or invalidate their existence as men.

Now if there really was a conferable men's lib movement, it would be around breaking the expectation of adherence to the Masculine gender norms and the ability to embrace one's authenticity and power outside of those narrow norms.

But a key factor in the 'Masculinity pill movement' is the idea that one will create revolution and "escape the matrix" only by rigid conformity to Masculine gender norms.

And of course, that's a catch 22 because you'd be attempting to escape the rigid expectations of society by hyper-conforming to them and policing others who don't conform to them.

This is the issue when your revolution is about reinforcing and intensifying the rigidity of the status quo... and resurrecting the status quo of times past.

@Emerald thanks for your input!

I am such a fan/Stan of your channel!

Your videos on the King, Warrior, Magician, Lover....Queen, Mother, Wise Woman, Beloved archetypes were great.

I agree 100% that the online "masculinity color pill movements" try to reinforce rigid conformity and stereotype types.

Men need to be become more aware of the trap of the hyper masculine polarity and be sure they are don't get trapped by it.

Not to say that hyper masculinity is bad, if channelled positively, but I find these hyper masculine channels really prey on low self esteem men.

I think men as group focus too heavily on women and money. I fall into this trap myself as well sometimes.
