It's interesting. I knew this degree of ignorance existed since I was young and I always struggled with accepting that the vast majority reject reality to serve one's positions grounded in self-service and blind emotion.

Im with you bro, it always blew my mind that anyone could fall for Hitlers rhetoric and that blind and emotional to let someone like that do what he did. I didnt think people were actually that emotionally led. But here we are, I think covid and social media have led to this, where people realised they could just alter their perspective of reality and get others to follow.

On a long enough timeline, so long as their ignorance doesn't destroy humanity, our side wins. (by 'our side', they'll think I mean the left)

I read by our side you mean reason and actual desire for truth and understanding, whatever 'party' or form that takes. The right are obsessed with the right 'winning'.

I completely hear you though, I can definitely imagine that case study xD

How do you think Covid contributed? Simply from having free time to engage with conspiracies and falsehood/propaganda?

Exactly. I don't care who ushers in the new enlightenment or about ideology. I just want people to operate on solid reason and truth and to have the ability to abandon their ideas in light that they are flawed. It is what it is though. No sense in wishing we were more evolved than what we are. I still haven't fully accepted it. It almost seems irresponsible to not push back in some way.

It's just so odd how there was such a split in consciousness. I can make sense of it intellectually, but I've found no explanation that makes living in an insane asylum any easier.

If truth is the guide, there's no need for ideology, right or left.

Maturity in discussion means the ability to separate ideas from identity so one can easily recognize new, irrefutable information as valid, and to fully integrate it into one’s perspective—even if it challenges deeply held beliefs. Both recognition and integration are crucial: the former acknowledges truth, while the latter ensures we are guided by it.

If truth is the guide, there's no need for ideology, right or left. Everyone just adhere to the truth. But of course, that's only possible if everyone is willing to give up their cherished beliefs.

It might just be sleep deprivation talking, but I'm feeling burnt out on the fight. At this point, I'm about ready to accept my assigned role as a contributor to humanity's demise, lol. Life really is tough when everyone isn't on the same page. Maybe we're witnessing the end.

😂

Yeah, I started noticing negative emotions the last couple of days. I'm getting exhausted myself. Probably should take a break.

Yeah i think a mix of fear of what was happening, anti-establishment sentiment, social media making it easy to distribute misinfo and yeah free time as well. During the time I would get daily content sent to me via wats app of just total bullshit and people would believe it. Im not even talking vaccine skepticism, I mean like a video of army vehicles being transported on the motorway and people believing that the army was going to lock down london. This is family members, friends etc who i thought were reasonable people, tbf when I did point out the bullshit with evidence some did back down, but it made me see how easy it was for people to be taken in because of the situation. So I think since then the anti-establishment sentiment has remained as well as the social media stuff although that started to get regulated a bit better. Remember before covid there was no need for the misinformation tags on posts, a lot of this was developed because of covid.

Yeah thats the crux of it, its jarring because we might have thought humanity was at a certain point but its obviously not there yet, so its accepting where we are at and i guess doing what we can from our position. I do sometimes feel im living in an insane asylum. Whats weird as well is that the amount of comfort, freedom and opportunity America have compared to the rest of the world, most of it anyway, is insane. Of all the countries to rebel its so strange that America are rebelling, like what do you even want? youre already winning

Makes a lot of sense. I never thought of Covid being a big contributor but it tracks really well.

This occurred to me as well and I think it leads to some good insights.

What do you think about this?

I think people are hungry for meaning but they can't find it and so they take that frustration out on something "out there". Most don't know this is largely why they're dissatisfied. Purpose is so important, which is why Leo harps on life purpose.

Most Americans are basically like spoiled children who have had it too easy and don't know how good they got it. Think about it. If you live somewhere where freedom isn't a given, there's something serious to fight for and to protect and be on guard for, which gives you a sense of purpose and meaning.

In America, people twiddle their thumbs in boredom, secretly wishing a catastrophic event would occur just so they can feel connected to their survival. I've noticed this in many of them and in my younger self. They literally fantasize about the end of the world and zombie apocalypse scenarios because it would provide opportunity to fight for something meaningful. Once survival is secured, meaning becomes a need.

Also, I've wondered to what degree this phenomenon contributes to Trump support. I think for many, It's not so much they want change from the government as it is that Trump might trigger something that could lead them into finding purpose via something catastrophic. I don't think they're consciously aware of it though. They claim they want a chaos agent to shake up the government but what I suspect is going on is they want the prospect of disaster. It sounds crazy, but I believe there's some truth to this.

They just want something to change, so they can feel something, anything, besides the same ole purposeless existence.

Edit: This doesn't apply to everyone, but I think it's somewhat common. Also, Americans are very poorly educated on history, which contributes to them taking democracy for granted and thus less cautious of someone like Trump.

One way to understand in what stance a influencer are in the moment and is to check the quality of his or her most recent content. For example, we can sort of know in what stance Leo is by following his recent posts. He is with more focus in understanding Geopolitical stuff, since he already delivered a lot on Going Meta and God Realization.

So now check what sort of Shit Albrey is focus in.
