This is very true. Look at where all previous efforts got us. They failed spectacularly. Denouncing Trumpism should stop. At this point, silence is the best teacher because it provides them opportunity for recognition. They'll have a hard time recognizing anything if we're filling up their psychic space with what they perceive as attacks. It just makes them double down.

We all know at this point who and what he is. There should be no more trying to convince people.

Just to clarify though, I'm not saying it should be ignored and I don't think discussions should stop, but we shouldn't be trying to convince them because it just makes them stronger.

If truth is the guide, there's no need for ideology, right or left.

Maturity in discussion means the ability to separate ideas from identity so one can easily recognize new, irrefutable information as valid, and to fully integrate it into one’s perspective—even if it challenges deeply held beliefs. Both recognition and integration are crucial: the former acknowledges truth, while the latter ensures we are guided by it.

Trump and his Imps don't share your hippy sentiments. They will fuck you.

If you stop calling the devil out on his bullshit he will fuck you and the world harder.

If you were in the jungle, you would let a jaguar slaughter you with this attitude. We're all one man, let the jaguar have some lunch!

I don't agree with OP's position but they have a good point about not calling them out.

It's not just Trumpists in their camp now. We could wind up in a situation where 70% of the US population is defending the Trump admin the way white evangelicals and racist nutjobs have been for the past 8 years. The movement has many new members and now with the Rogan endorsement, many other influencers will follow suit, which means their numbers will continue to grow.

If we call it out, it'll only entrench their new members, just like the first time around.

If they didn't pickup so many new members, I'd probably still advocate for calling them out, but it seems like a horrible idea now. We should just keep quiet and hope the new members see for themselves, IMO.

Most who voted for Trump don't have the capacity to admit when they are wrong. They can't handle cognitive dissonance.

Staying quiet only enables such people to bury themselves deeper into ignorance. Calling out Trump doesn't save those people; it's saves the vulnerable people from falling under the spell.

Ok, so first of all, I promise I don't watch The View, lol. I just saw this clip going around, and I thought it'd be an interesting opportunity to see examples of different ways the election loss can be handled.

Which method do you guys think is optimal for aiming towards future improvements?

It's going to be really interesting how this plays out...don't you hate how things take so long...wars..politics...it takes forever to play out!  If only we had a looking glass and could see the future..that would be a trip!

There's something pretty interesting going on. I'm seeing a lot of conversations among Democrats where some want to look inward to see where positive changes can be made, and others seem to want to just double down on previous ways. It's quite a sharp contrast.

I predict the possibility that at least some of the Dems wanting introspection may start a process of peeling off the party as well, assuming common ground and a unified strategy proves impossible.

Just a thought, I could be way off.

People can share similar opinions. Shocking, I know. I often use his language because I know you know what it means.

All of this “let’s reflect on what happened” is either idiocy or posturing. Anyone with half a brain knows what happened. Unwitting voters were fed propaganda and they ate it up. I see a lot of politicians and mainstream media staying as far away from the truth as possible, and for very obvious reasons. If a politician went on CNN and said the voters were unwitting victims of propaganda, their career might end. So of course they’re going to say things like “what did the we do wrong to lose like this? “.

The only thing to figure out is how to combat deception and how to deal with unwitting voters falling victim to propaganda. Data scientist are currently analyzing this stuff and when the data comes out, it will confirm what I’m saying. Many independent media outlets are acknowledging it, and they can because they aren’t beholden to stakeholders like the mainstream. Even Bernie can’t say the truth of what happened.

I'm more worried about how Trump speaks:P

The most sane quote 4:10

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Right, sounds like you'd fall on that end of the spectrum in terms of the debate then.

@Staples I understand this. Really feels that way, that no matter what is said they’re coming for us anyway
but I think attacks, hate, etc will just make things worse
thankfully for humans we all have love, and are capable of having awakenings/epiphanies etc. how can we try to help them realise love on a broader scale instead of just for their close family and friends? What can we do to induce awakenings so they shift their perspective and want less war, peace, etc?

Leo speaks of it in his war and conflict videos too, about how the highest form of love is indifference and unity. As hard as it is to be indifferent as a human with some of these atrocities, we have to operate from presence imo and not judge the past too much. Instead, how can a better future be built?

And hopefully some nasty plans can be retracted. Probably not but becoming the enemy will make things worse. and could bring a nasty shock to any one individual. Guns are nice but they have bombs😬

Also, I think we can point out their devilry without it being a personal attack.

It's not about admitting they were wrong. It's about them recognizing the coming reality. If we make them double down in their Trump support, they'd be less likely to recognize it.

As an added bonus, many of those new people could end up being anti-Trump and they might then turn on the rest of them if we just let them come to it on their own; not by admitting their mistake, but simply be seeing the price of eggs didn't go down or by seeing the lives of their loved ones get worse due to cuts to social programs.

We'll just create more cultist if we continue warning them.
