The best way to defeat the conservatives would be to return to real issues such as economic justice, healthcare, and education.  Bernie Sanders showed that this can be successful.  You could add to that the issue of equity capital buying up all the housing in America so that ordinary people can never buy a home.  And then there is the inflation which is the result of the Federal Reserve creating money to make the stock market go up.   These are real issues that affect ordinary people.   Return to real values.  A woman president is not an inherent virtue.  Replace hysteria with common sense.   Now you have a winning formula.

He has an almost entirely new administration now, there are capable people at his side to execute the policies that his "avengers" will create.

Notice you've always been alright. What will happen will happen and there'll you'll be, noticing it happen. It will be fine. Nothing can get done with a hot head. Yes, it sucks that this is the state of things, but you can't change it, so you have to just let it go. 

Half of the country is really happy. That alone is a positive thing if you think about it. Let them have their win.

Also, they will fuck shit up and you can watch as a detached observer knowing that you had no part of it. Aspects of it will surely be entertaining.

I'm no longer on edge because what's done is done. I'm done warning and convincing people because at the point, everyone knows what Trump is and they chose him anyway. There is really nothing left to say to them and no need to convince anyone because they already know. Now that there's nothing left to do, all we can do is strap in for the ride and accept it.

Same as all throughout history, uprisings occur when the elites step too far out of bounds. They will do damage but they can't go too far.

Look at how much of the vote total fell off from Biden in 2020 to Harris in 2024 not just in the total national popular vote, but within each state. Also, look at how depressed the votes were for each of the down-ballot candidates in each of the races throughout the whole country. 

I am not saying that there was voter fraud per se, but it was the motherfucking right-wing media out there that convinced too many Americans to stay home because the economy was "bad" and that our country is being "taken over by the feminists, wokists, and immigrants" when none of that BS was true at all!

There's been some things lately where I've disagreed with Leo on, but I have to say that he was right.....

The majority of Americans have become victim of the Internet/social media brain-rot ideology.

99% of Americans in this country including all of us on this website are doomed unless we fight back these radical right-wing monsters at all costs through civil disobedience!!!!

We need to organize some kind of private militia or some kind of very very militant organization to destroy the right-wing media ecosystem at all costs!!!

There probably is one more choice, the Democrats could learn to interact with and help the Trump supporters in some way. I remember 10+ years ago I was still that conservative, simple minded Christian and that version of me would have been a hardcore Trump supporter. I know what it feels like to be in that position. But then I found Leo and changed my life, anything can happen.

I realize that what I said before might be too naive, ok maybe Trump will turn America into a fucking joke. But what other option do we have but to accept them and interact with them in some way?

2. Cause widespread civil unrest again like the BLM riots under the watch of Trump again, but make those protests 2x larger and more powerful than they were in 2020.

3. I hate to say this, but we may all need to protect ourselves from a truly intrusive government by taking advantage of our gun rights.
