You know, I thought that Democrats were winning the messaging war before the 2024 election with their build-up of their progressive media ecosystem in recent years, but now I see that I wrongly thought that.

Democrats are losing the messaging war so badly! 

With the Republican Party's growing influence, particularly among working-class voters, and the widespread dissemination of conservative messaging, how can Democrats regain power?

It’s tempting to fall into defeatism and view everything with pessimism now, but I believe the Democrats just need to put forward an appealing candidate for the masses, grit their teeth for 4 years, and wait for Trump to mess up (which he will). Eventually, people will get tired of him again.

This tweet (by a Democrat strategist) is a perfect encapsulation of the mistakes the left keep making over and over:

• obsession with racial identity
• obession with gender identity

The world needs a sane and intelligent left to act as a counter-balance to the excesses of the right (and vice versa). I hope they finally take stock, drop the divisive identity politics virtue signalling BS and actually return to their core higher values of social cohesion and kindness. 

I also expect the 2010s naive utopian leftism to decline in popularity similair like the 1960s-1970s hippie movement collapsed in past. The left won’t disappear of course, rather it will be much more matured and grounded, opposed what we have seen with SJWs in 2010s and echo-chambers of early 2020s.

You need to run a candidate that is popular with the public at large on policies which are popular in the public.

The problem is the dem candidate is decided by a small minority of democrat primary voters and whoever the wealthy gives the most money too.

The candidate democrat primary voters like isn’t always going to be liked by the entire country and the policies the wealthy pay them to support aren’t always going to be popular with the entire country.

There are plenty, they just lost influence and people just don’t take them seriously because they were either caught constantly lying to defend democrats or blacklisted by democrats because they criticized them.

I don't know if you watch Destiny's stream, but he's talking about doing that very thing, as well as other forms of left-leaning media. And he's working on forming coalitions towards that end.

As of now, I don't see a path forward for the Dems. They'll have to completely rebrand themselves and install all new figureheads. Everyone at the top, except a few must go.

The rightward shift is pronounced and the trend will continue. The reason why is because it's a new movement. It's no longer Trumpism. If Trump didn't bring in his team of super-heroes, he probably would have lost this election. 

Many independents who voted R who previously didn't consider themselves political, have found a nice cozy political home that they'd like to identify with. Their numbers will grow. You can't stop Rogan and the soon-to-be trillionaire. 

Look, the worst that can happen is we all die. Keep in mind, the elites needs us to give them attention and buy their stuff, so they ain't going to exterminate you. lol. I'd say the biggest concern is winding up in WW3.

You need to tone the rhetoric down. Trump is inheriting a giant security state that has ability to spy on and track Americans thanks to Obama expanding the NSA and a massive propaganda apparatus that may be able to defame and cancel anyone thanks to democrats empowering the FBI to interfere with civil speech and cancel culture. If worst comes to worst and we have civil strife what you say can be used against you if they start targeting dissidents, either in blacklisting you from bank accounts and jobs or even potential jail time.
