What even is enlightenment?

62 posts in this topic

I had this immature notion for a long time that enlightened people are in a permanent and natural "5-meo like" high all the time.

This can't be correct or is it?

@enchanted no. Enlightenment is You. Simply being where You already are.

It’s when you lose weight and become lighter. Tadaa enlightened.

The burdens of life come off you feel like you will fly. The black space behind your eyes gets ignited. You will see reality with eyes closed cause God turned your darkness into light.

Having the intuition that you are creating reality, or that it is You. Rarely comes by accident, it depends on how much you want to understand.

Other definitions/explanations: seeing how everything is Love (like, what!?), realizing Truth against your own fears such as "what if my whole life is destroyed?" or similar fears, savoring Truth, realizing pure Imagination, etc.

Enlightenment is permanent in that it is happening all the time. This is because it is the only thing that can happen. Enlightenment means accessing truth more and more. This is not a momentary thing but an indefinite thing because all things boil down to the access of truth. The depression trip is not enlightenment but neither is the psychedelic trip. Nothing in particular is enlightenment. Instead enlightenment is the most permanent or constant thing that can happen. It is the way. It is the Dao.

Everything is made up, including enlightenment. If you knew what reality is, you would recognize this to be the case. Enlightenment is as real as a piece of chocolate cake. The process that goes into making a piece of chocolate cake is probably more complicated than the process to becoming enlightened. Everybody is already enlightened. Don't care what anybody says. You're no more special than anybody in this department. Some people just know more than some and then proceed to market that knowledge.

Save your rebuttals for the birds, please.

The senses aren't even giving an accurate description of what is actually being perceived. You have been fooled my love. If you really understood the depth of the illusion, you would just go chill and go enjoy your made up suffering and see it as divine. How cool is that. The senses are recording information and giving back to that part of you that makes up who you are. There's no one there having a real sense of self, you're just telling yourself that. Enlightenment can only pretend to take away something that wasn't there to begin with.

Chocolate cake has qualia. The experience is real. If you notice the chocolate cake has no qualia when not being experienced by sense organs. When it does it is experienced it becomes real.

Rebuttal is sent to all chirping birds out there.

The problem is your sense organs haven't tasted enlightenment.

How do you know the senses aren’t giving accurate description? Physical suffering isn’t self created, mental might be sometimes. Maybe there’s no self but I can’t see that

A blind man wasn't born blind because he is less fortunate than you. Neither is the deaf. They are only considered impaired in a made-up world. You are no more impaired than them.

Please watch this video. I'm not just going off of the video, but it's just another one to show.

Enlightenment has nothing to do with knowing. İt is genuinely not knowing, completely the opposite.

Thought so. I prove to myself everyday, that all this shit is just made up shit and no one really cares about anything because they are IT. We're only here to fuck off with each other and have a grand ole I really don't give a fuck party, I'm only pretending to care. I'm only pretending to be suicidal and I'm only pretending to suffer. The breadcrumbs are everywhere. Soon another post will come up....."How do I blah, blah blah," playing these games of trying to seem like we really want to do anything or know anything. It's so fucking obvious.
