I don’t care about bliss

It is inevitable that what pushes you is to look for a better experience. If your experience were perfect you would not search for anything, but at a given moment you have to abandon the negative approach, that is, escape from suffering, and start a positive approach: open yourself to your true nature for the sole reason that it is your true nature. This will bring a better experience, but it is a side effect, not the main thing

Then the question is how. You said you took a little weed or lsd and meditated a bunch. Can’t see how one could just easily do it. Why is something that is our true nature so hard to “access” seemingly it’s the strangest thing ever.

I also did 5 meo a lot of times, and DMT too, was very useful to dissolve energetic barriers but the real opening comes when you can let go everything, and that comes with the understanding that you are everything then you don't need to let go nothing. It happens little by little, then is some point you are meditating and there is nothing but unlimited that exists, and that is, there is everything, absolutely. You always was that, you are that now and always. Then if you start to try to understand what is this experience and that, you are in the relative again. The only answer for any question is: because there are not Limits. Anything else is limited.

I can’t do psychedelics for now but I can meditate so that’s at least something..

okay so letting go is key. I see. And thinking about it is relative.

This neutrality is right here. Stop distorting it with your thoughts and ideas. See that even your thought of "I would actually be fine with neutrality" is another thought that is stirring your attention away from this neutrality. You have a good mindset. Accept the absolute boredom, neutrality and "MEH-ness" of this moment - do not comment on it. Do not listen to the thought that will come and say "meeeeh, I would be fine with neutrality but NOT LIKE THAT, I want some other neutrality, not that right now" - ignore all thoughts and remain in neutrality available to you right now. Immerse yourself in this moment as it is without any thought. Neutrality is always here waiting for you, but mind get's bored really fast and starts yapping.

Psychedelic were necessary for me because I was full of blockage, but for another people would be much more easy and they wouldn't need

I don’t care about bliss either. I care about understanding Truth. That requires radical honesty with yourself. Such as experiencing the Devil as Love.

Fear and attachment in many forms, need of control, all that that we build because in a point of our lives everything is a mess impossible to understand and we are floating in the middle of confusion, then we build those structures to advance, to don't get psychotic

When i was in High School, i used to live in loops of studying, doing sport, listening to musics while thinking to random stuffs ; I precisely felt "neutral" most of the time.

It was ok until i live a different thing for some reasons and when i came back to my normal "life style" i turned depressed quickly for some hours or even days, by contrast.

I see, thanks for sharing.

Psychedelics never helped me, it's always randoms experiences ; Sometimes very alien and interesting eheh, but random and impersonal still.

Try 5 meo, it's the best for this, then the others like LSD get clean

I've tried 5 MeO once (30/40mg by snorting from what i remember) and it was horrible.

Now everytime i try again and feel i took an significant (still low) dose, i panic and compulsively try to wash my nose or something like that.

I will try again, but when i will be more chill in my personal life.

For me was also horrible at first, then you do more times and realize why it's horrible, where are the barriers . It's quite challenging but it works

Yea I believe enlightenment is closer to the kind of neutrality I’m describing as opposed to a loud bliss (maybe in the beginning when it happens it’s so)

Enlightenment in my opinion is all about being contended and being in a state free of attachment. It's about being in acceptance with what you are and  experiencing life without being enslaved to the selfish tendencies of the ego and  resistance to life. But generally enlightened people are blissful because they prefer the blissful nature of the union and egolessness over pleasures, simply because they know pleasures are costly and pushes us deep into the illusion, not because they hate them.

The neutrality you are describing is a state of light bliss for a prolonged time period. When you are being neutral without being in a state of bliss, the feeling of peace will be overwhelmed by feeling of boredom and longing after desires, that could happen if you are inactive and egoistic at the same time.

Do you want low levels of bliss for a prolonged time or intense bliss for a short period of time? You can choose to be highly blissful all the time, but that's rare and means you have to put more effort in the form of intense meditation, devotion or selfless activities. To live life peacefully, you don't need to do that.

Why in your case ? Would you feel able to describe a bit ?

To me, it looks like i "take conscious" of reality more and more and it feels like an absolute loss of control, It's like being locked in the world's biggest roller coaster and feeling it go up, except that it's not the fall that's scary but the vertigo.
If what I'm saying makes sense.
