Can I still be world class if I start late?

26 posts in this topic

@Magnanimous Greatness doesn't take 10-20 years you can master something in 2 years if you do it 16 hours a day. You can be 20 and be a master at something if you start.

But you cant guarantee world class in anything . If you are you are if you aren't you aren't.

I would suggest doing something that's in your genetics. If your family did it its already written into your dna. If your father was a writer every mistake hes ever made writing and every accomplishment is built into your intelligence.

With Charisma if you did it and really tried, I’d say 3-12 months you’d get to a level where you enjoy it and it just grows from there. The secret is probably having fun with others and feeling good. Some mixer of social intelligence and boundaries.

I'm curious how would you gauge if you were #1 in charisma. It doesn't feel quantifiable. Maybe in terms of fame?

How come you think it's perfect? If I were to raise a kid who had legendary charismatic talent I would've had him practicing charisma when he can first hold a conversation

That thinking doesn't help you. As well you could say that because I didn't get the best possible start at life, because I am poor I won't start. Anyways you got nothing, but at to start asap. Here's the secret my friend: literally no one does life so precisely that starting life long grind at 17 wouldn't make you number 1 at your own thing, whatever it would be.

Who told you that "others" are real?

doesn't sound like a passion sounds like a pain point that you're passionate about solving because it's caused you pain, problems, embarassments, rejection, etc. It's not your passion. But you could work on it. This idea of wanting to become "world class" is just classic scarcity mentality overcompensation. Why not just improve your social skills? And instead of going and doing that you're posting online anonymously about why you can't.

@Magnanimous What the actual fuck did I just read. You're only 17!!!!

Dude, I literally met Jeffy in person, and he told me he didn't start socializing until he was 26 (which I am currently). He was probably worse than you, hahah

I get your position, you feel like you're late to the game.

But only at 17? Jesus, you haven't even started!
