Is solipsism a Ego trap ?

34 posts in this topic

Could solipsism simply be an attachment to the ego, mistaking one's individual perspective as the only reality?

How can one tell if they’re experiencing true oneness or are actually reinforcing the illusion of separation through solipsistic thinking?

It could be that

And it is the case

There are Infinity perspectives

Of what

Of this one consciousness field you are experiencing

It is Experience

Singular Totally Absolute

Infinity

Everything you come up with is already

It's all the permutations Reality can be

It is Itself

TOTAL IN ITSELF

It's a total merging with everything even separation

It's Solipsistic Togetherness

A Show of Mirrors

Well it is quite obvious when it happens

You're not gonna miss it!

Although it is certainly possible to delude yourself think it is when it actually isn't

Like police dog. If you have drug it catches you 100%. If you don't have, it may give you a falso positive.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Of course any beliefs, ideas, concepts, perspective etc... Belongs to ego.

I believe that in Leo's video about why he removed the solipsism video, one reason is that it is very easily abused to give oneself license to do whatever you want and act out.

@Basman Well actually you can't act yourself out that easily as materialistic boundaries exist for instance laws and punishment .

@Kairos None of my answers will satisfy you

Only your experience and Awakening will

What does it matter if its easy or not? The point is that you give yourself license to treat others like NPCs in a videogame. If anything, that makes it more interesting. Now its game to manipulate and deceive to get what you want without suffering the consequences.

@Davino Is there something specific you do to get that or it just clicks at some time.

Can it happen without psychedelics and hardcore meditation stuff

@Basman Youre right some people might see that perspective as freeing from all Morals and Ethics and do whatever they please .

But again they'd be right be to think so .Even though we perceive their actions as bad .In absolute sense there is No GOOD OR BAD .

Also I think Leo might have done the right thing to take the vedio off for these reasons .

Its solipsism without the ego. Just a God looking into many different rooms trying to find what its looking for.

I’m guessing if one realized true oneness there would be no doubt. Also as @Salvijus has pointed out in some replies. The manifestations of ego are things such as judgement, envy, fear, hatred etc so if any of those are present it’s an indication ego is still present.

@Kairos Try everything, then see what works for you

I recommend psychedelics (5meo), Kundalini yoga, vipassana, pranyama and retreats. That's what works for me.

Solipsism is true in the sense that everything is the same reality, and it's false when they say that you are imagining the others
