The video was absolutely available on youtube, I checked it myself. It was a completely baseless lie, lol.

It wasn't Trump voters who made the difference in this election, he got as many as he did last time. What made the difference here is that many democratic voters didn't go to vote.

A week later you're still in denial, let it go man 😂😂

No it's not a lie. I can personally attest the video didn't show in my YouTube feed aswell but showed the next podcast Rogan did with Francis Foster. Only then did I discover that there is a video of Trump that happened few days before and was surprised it didn't show on feed even tho it has 10x more views.

Edit. Oh wait I just realized you're perhaps talking about a different video. But my example is still relevant so I'll leave it.

Yes you are right, i made a thread about it when it happend, this guy also knows that it happend but he is being intentionally dense unfortuantely, literally the whole world testified to the censorship being placed but this guy thinks he has the final say in the matter 😂

Even if this was true, look at the alternative:

Elon bought twitter and changed the algorithms such that his tweets will be the most viewed on the platform. He then proceeded to use his voice to rally for Trump, while demonetizing people like Destiny on the platform.

Like how can you complain about the Rogan podcast and not about that?

As someone in tech, I believe it is true (referring to the Rogan podcast), but it could very well be a consequence of YT capturing certain search terms and defaulting them to official news sources. Meaning that a search that includes the word "Trump" will be heavily weighted towards well-known and trusted channels. This is something that's been in place for years, and it applies to many other controversial search terms as well.

So I do have my doubts this particular podcast was specifically targeted. Though an argument could be made that YT should have added it to their "trending" list, considering the massive views in a short amount of time.

You just have to look at how popular the video is, and how popular Joe Rogan is in general. He is a misinformation factory, he can be lucky that he is getting any views.

His visibility on the platform should reduce every time he lies and brings on guests that lie.

The video was shadowbanned, I personally had issue finding it and so did many people I know. I didn’t even know it was released until others told me. You can argue from today till tomorrow, but I vouch here myself that I could not find the video unless I specifically typed the text. Now I think the YT probably censor the word Trump or something, not necessarily joe Rogan. But like it or not that played a role in elections.

Ah yes, and the owner of the most significant speech platform in the world changing algorithms in his own favor and then running a campaign for Donald Trump did play no role in the election.

Just imagine Zuckerberg doing the same on Facebook or Instagram. The fact that this is not even noticed by the side that talks about evil billionaires and the deep state constantly is telling.

Same, I had to go to Rohan’s YouTube to get to it or type the exact title of the video. I’m it changed later after enough people brought awareness to it. Similar to how in 2020 big tech also hid the hunter Biden laptop story or censored conservative content on Twitter which the twitter files exposed. Democrats and the left literally project exactly what they themselves do. Not that Republicans are angels, but Dems are such hypocrites it’s not even funny.

Well maybe, but truth can be a more subjective thing than we like to think. Even those who are highly intelligent can have blind spots which make it difficult to observe a situation with objectivity.

By the way, who do you side with more in terms of post-election attitude, Pisco or Destiny/Jessiah? I think Pisco has a much healthier outlook, and it sounds like he plans to take whatever lessons can be learned and move forward within the reality in which he's presented. Alternatively, Destiny and Jessiah were toying with loopholes, and Dan even suggested Biden utilize his immunity to murder Trump. I'm sure they were half-joking, but they were also half-serious.

I think Pisco will be on Anything Else today. He'll probably have the type of message that'll help preserve sanity when the left is feeling the very human urge to stoop to the level of their opponents.

In general I think Destiny is more in tune with the deeper problems that we are facing as a society, in relation to epistemic breakdown and so forth. I don't agree with his proposed solutions, though I think he is correctly identifying the problems.

I haven't paid much attention the difference between Pisco and Destiny, although I am more pessimistic about the average human being, so I would most likely align with Destiny more than Pisco.

The twitter files did not really expose this, the claims are highly exaggerated. Anything that happened there pales in comparison to what Elon is doing with twitter now, all in the open for everyone to see.

Here is Destiny debating the journalists responsible for the mess:

I could definitely see that, because Destiny is extremely persuasive and on-target in terms of what appears to be going on. I recommend tuning in and seeing what Pisco thinks today, though. I'm guessing you would have anyway.

I’ll check out it. I like Destiny. One of his takes on the whole immigrants voting in swing states to solidify Democrat power was that no one’s forcing them to vote blue and that they could vote Republican. But then he never considered that Democrats would provide more incentives to them such as migrating relatives and offering perks etc in order to get them to vote blue.

This was the fear from the Republican side - that if they had another 4 years of excess immigration which got turned into Democrat voters in key swing states, it would become a uni-party like California. As we have seen, elections are tight and hinge on these few states.

I don't see how this is anything but fearmongering. Is this happening anywhere?

Why are the republicans not appealling to immigrant voters then? These are incredibly conservative individuals.

In the end you can argue importing immigrants will lead to the country shifting more conservative in the long run, given that these individuals often skew conservative when they come from certain regions.

It's probably fair to say that it looks fishy when lax policy allows millions into a country, many are moved to states which are usually in contention in terms of the electoral college,  and then a proposal is made to allow them all citizenship, which includes the right to vote.

I'm not at all saying that this was the intention of the left, and I don't even want to argue that. As you say, they may end up voting conservative. But the right would feel less gaslit if someone could at least admit how it could be perceived in such a way.
