Trumpist like derogatory language, so here ya go:

Anyone weighing whether to vote Kamala or Trump is a straight fucking idiot. It's really simple. You look at January 6 through your eye holes and let that information fall into your brain bucket. Then, if you're not a full on retard, you will say "Oh, shit, Trump is a serious threat to democracy and I should probably do all I can to prevent him from fucking that up, because...you know... that's like some serious shit". That's it! End of sensemaking. Jesus fucking Christ the amount of idiocy on this forum is embarrassing. And you fancy yourselves high-conscious people?

If you find yourself shirking your responsibility to vote against Trump, your sensemaking apparatus is in dire need of fixing.

Except if trump loses now there will be an even bigger January 6th.

How do you know that? Bigger in what sense? If he couldn't pull it off while in power, what are the chances he could do it now?

You used to be a voice of reason around here, what happened? Like month or two ago. This is alarmist bullshit and you know it.

Something I haven't seen brought up is the possibility of the left attempting a serious breach of democratic norms in the event of Kamala losing. It'd almost be hard to blame them after the January 6th stuff, since a new precedent has been set. It'd be brazenly hypocritical of them, sure, but I do wonder what we might end up seeing once we surpass the boiling point of rage and indignation. When emotions run high enough, a lot becomes possible.

Do you know why this speculation even exists in your mind right now? I know why. It's because the cancer that is Trump set the precedent for it. No way around this. The guy and movement you run apologetics for is responsible. People warned about this sort of thing and centrist apologists refused to see. Part of me hopes they get a Trump win.

If truth is the guide, there's no need for ideology, right or left.

Maturity in discussion means the ability to separate ideas from identity so one can easily recognize new, irrefutable information as valid, and to fully integrate it into one’s perspective—even if it challenges deeply held beliefs. Both recognition and integration are crucial: the former acknowledges truth, while the latter ensures we are guided by it.

Are you stupid? What part of not being in office stops a riot from occurring?

Well sure, I mentioned in my first post that the current precedent of election denialism and attempted overturning was set by Trump. But you're not saying you hope the left successfully steals the election in the event that he wins, are you?

Edit: Actually, upon rereading your post, I don't think that's what you were saying. I probably misinterpreted that last sentence. I think you meant that centrists deserve the hell they'd live in with a Trump presidency. My apologies.

No. I'm saying if it were to happen, you can thank Trump, Trumpism, and all the people who've been running apologetics for Trump, who were too ignorant to see reality for what it clearly was. See, when fucked up shit happens, I go to the root. I like to prevent problems from happening, which means straightening out bad sensemaking and removing falsehoods.

Now, if I had a magic red button I could press that would make the Dems seize power in the event of a Trump victory, would I press it? I would consider it. See, the word "consider" means something. If you have a ball sack and know how to think clearly, you can consider things and make decisions based on the considerations without concern for what others might think about the decision. The way the consideration would work is like this: First, is there a good way to do it without it being overt. If not, probably can't do it. Next, look at the likely negative impacts of both options. Next, game those out to fullest and see which is worse.

So, yeah, I would consider it and I'm not ashamed to say it. If action Y is near fatal and action X is just toxic, I have the balls to choose option X, regardless of what anyone thinks about it.

If democracy has to suffer a bad blow to prevent a fatal blow, which would you prefer? Would you even choose?

And it's not just democracy at stake here. We're talking a huge list of toxicities and potentially malignant, unrecoverable. World wars, health crisis, etc.

Pretty honest response. I'm sure I'd go through a similar mental quandary if I had such a button, and I'd likely end up making the choice that I perceive to be simultaneously the most advantageous for myself as well as for the greater good.

It still doesn’t change his opinions, which can be good for society.

Democracy is a privilege. Democracy takes all parties to follow rules or America will end up like Rome. People just assassinating other people over and over then usa will turn into a shit hole country. When you go against the votes you are going against Democracy. After watching the interview I can understand why trump thought the election was stolen cause it seems that he was like a kid in a candy store and everyone hated him because he wasn't a normal politician. After watching the interview I can see his side where becoming president was like a movie moment for him and he has no idea what he was doing and people sharking him left and right. Judging from this video to me it does not seem like he is a dictator but just a child that randomly was given the chance to be president and was just making shit up on the fly. He has no idea what he's doing and shouldn't be president I do not think.

THANK YOU.  Most retards will redirect the reality that democracy is indeed in shambles by a conman, to irrelevant things like Kamala laughs funny or democrats are effeminate and drink soy milk durrrhurrr.

This is also what I’m grappling with on this forum.  High conscious and Donald Trump is like oil and water.  I’m not even high conscious either but my brain isn’t fully smooth.

Kamala having a short presidential campaign is genius. In this way people can’t see the real her. She is always smiling and wearing a mask, you can’t see behind it and this is why you like her.

Liberal and the left is just not realistic way to behave in this world. US is in a stage right now where all countries taking advantage of it. Too weak.

Trump and his office will make sure countries will be afraid to do this chaos. Russia attacking Ukraine or Iran attacking Israel is an unimaginable scenario.

Sounds like Kyle was hoping for an adversarial interview as opposed to an entertaining podcast.

Are there any interesting parts in the interview? I already find it quite impressive that the guy can still talk for three hours but i don’t think i want to listen to it.
