@Sugarcoat Perhaps I mixed up ZoG with average:ness. You might be right. I also have had really crazy things happening to me, and I'm thankful that my inner life is extremely rich, and I know for a fact that many others around me haven't experienced life in the same way. This might be unique in some way, but I think everyone has something unique for them, and if they don't find it (or even try, not just in conventional ways) then they'll fall into the average-person-category. Still, since we're all very unique, maybe we're all average? Like my old religion-professor used to say:

"If everything is ketchup then nothing is ketchup."

The average person believes theyre not average because everyone wants to be special. But wanting or believing yourself to be special is by definition an average person. the way you do it might be different, some on this forum would use spirituality or spiral dynamics, pinning themselves at a higher level than the 'average' person, some will use material achievements, some will use academic achievements, familial achievements, personality etc etc, its all the same we all dont want to be average and that is the human condition and if you look for ways that youre not average you have the same condition as the average human, no matter how pretentious your reason why

The problem here is that you don't see where I come from when I say stuff here on the forum. Is it about feeling different or separated? Could it be a subtle desire to feel special?

That sense might itself be based on a plethora of assumptions, but we have yet to figure that out.

You keep bringing up that people’s thinking may be “connected,” as opposed to yours. How do you assume thinking has to occur?

That is true. One could be not average though if one suffers from some mental condition, so not average doesn’t necessarily have to mean above average .

I feel my mind is blank sometimes and my thoughts aren’t coherent, it’s like there’s a lot of space between them but not in a spiritual way, if that makes sense so yes I’m a bit of a exception to that . It’s like a disconnection from my own mental processes
