Your only problem here is that you cannot just trust the Intelligence of the Universe, and you are doubtful and fearful about it.

It just feels illogical to me that everything exists without any thought behind it. It feels like a curse to be unable to have control and to have to flow with existence against my will.

Exactly, the form is nonsense. No sense, no meaning, no reason. Just is. When you really realize, you will laugh, just because nothing would prevent this laugh. Absolutely nothing has any meaning .
