My life is objectively not worth living

19 posts in this topic

I graduated college this year with a 2nd useless degree. I cant get a 9-5 job, even though I have an internship of 2 years. I only get rejected from job interviews. I feel very pathetic.

I dont have any friends. They all ghosted me this year on insta or messenger. I only have my family left, but they wont live forever.

My love life is nonexistent. Since 2017 I didnt have a proper gf. The closest I came to this year was drunk sex after going out. But zero connection. All I encountered this year was rejection, unless I was drunk.

My self esteem is shit, even though I visit a psychologist and take meds.

On top of all this rn Im pretty sick after a trip to Turkey. I really hope it takes me away. My future looks very bleak and dark.

Just go on help somebody.

Throw a good deed in the river and it will come back to you in the most appropriate time that you're not expecting.

Whenever you feel any sadness or depression just go out and try to make somebody happy and try to be helpful.

Before anything you will instantly feel your life is not meaningless at all.

You will feel meaningful as best as you can especially if you yourself are suffering and you still do a good deed for someone else or even an animal or even planting a tree or anything like these.

Trust me brother; you're gonna feel amazingly fulfilled just whenever you feel meaningless just try to serve others.

Even if its just writing some help to someone on the Internet or even in this very forum; try to be helpful as best as you can as best as your knowledge and wisdom is making it possible for you.

It works miraculously.

Life will just show you the way you're supposed to take on itself.

Just trust the process and don't lose hope in yourself and your life.

I know you were made for greatness.

You exist for a reason don't ever doubt that it's literally the truth.

Do you ever not suffer because of your life situation?

Are you doing some "spiritual stuff" and if so what?

The ego seems to always look for problems and solutions.

But it’s not necessarily that your life could be any different and is the reason for your suffering. CEO’s also suicide themselves even if they are objectively successful and such.

Maybe the problem is that there is no problem.

1. You can find a job if you keep searching

2. you can make new friends

3. you can increase chances of getting girlfriend by doing pickup etc

4. self esteem can be improved with work

5. your sickness will eventually pass

You’re not in a hopeless situation there is major possibility for change. Don’t give up yet, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

@fabger Dude you're still a kid, respectfully. Don't be so harsh on yourself. Your life just started.

This right here is an eye-opener. To me anyway, because I notice everything. Your statement here shows, on the deep level, that a rejection is us rejecting ourselves. It is only perceived that way. No amount of sex is going to come from somewhere just because you were drunk. It's still coming from you. The consciousness has loosened up. More uninhibited. We don't realize this when we're unconscious. Observe life and it will awaken you. Open you up. It's all here in plain sight except for the unseen unmanifested which is more felt and mental.

You probably see your statement here in a negative light and saying you're not worthy only when you're drunk. I see it differently. Alcohol has a way of loosening up the mind's contraction and allow for a more expanded version of self. You have within you all you need, but because we're stuck on the outside world and given it all the power, we have weakened our connection to source. Contemplate on why it's only when you're drunk is when you get results and not sober. That says a lot about what's inside.

Just as you get rejected all the time except when you are drunk, which is just another state of consciousness, you can get results in other areas by also changing your state of consciousness. It's because of the state you're in and your vibrational frequency why you're experiencing these things. We cannot experience anything outside of our own states of consciousness and that's why when you're in a different state through being drunk, you can get laid easily. When you're not, it is of your own doing. Unconsciously, of course, because you're unaware of this. You will probably deny this and still blame the outside world, but it's because you're unaware that you are the first cause.

I wanted to reply sooner but Im still busy with mononucleosis lol. Yes that's a good observation. I find it really hard to accept that I create my problems. For example alcohol makes my social anxiety go away. I just dont care  what others might think of me. But as soon as this bullshit illness is over I will try to take action on this.

I dealt with that almost a year ago. It’s a bitch of a disease & the recovery is long, but it is totally worth it to stick thru that pain.

Is life worth living is a very broad question

I think everyone has to answer that question by themselves

though to me it just sounds like you don’t really know what brings you happiness

I kinda get what brings me happiness, but before then I was very sad and depressed

it’s not to say I don’t deal with those emotions anymore, but it helps knowing

for instance in a really dark period of my life I was hospitalized because of suicidal ideation/tendencies

I ended up making a friend and we played uno

I’ve been obsessed with it since and find it a source of comfort

and it genuinely makes me happy

I had a pretty good winning streak until joy @Yimpabegan playing the game as well

:)) joy is telling me about emojis I can add on lol

shh

please don’t buy into the false idea that everyone has it together, because we don’t

and I find comfort that I’m going through hardship with others (shout out to my editor @Yimpa

yes it sucks, but hey at least I have a clutch

my honest advice is

find more laughter, look at free events, and comedy clubs and if you can make a friend or even acquaintance good on you

don’t expect perfection just work on progression

another little quote I’ve found that has brought me comfort is

rejection is just redirection

good luck we’re rooting for you

Mines worse

I don't leave the house (agoraphobia, I only can leave house with someone forth and back home) and people used to laugh at me when I used to go out.

Also misanthropic and cynical

My dad was this kind of person

I do not suggest drinking alcohol for social anxiety

it’s quite literally adding gasoline to your current fire

alcoholism will kill you
