Strange thing happened with my tongue in a higher state - desperate to understand.

Hey all. Wasn't sure of the best place to put this topic. I did a smallish dose of psilocybin (1.5 grams) today to work on something specific. I ended up going very deep into a higher state that I've never experienced. I was laying on my back. I started feeling lots of sensations around my face and head. Spontaneously my tongue lifted up and curled back on its own and I felt the sensation of my throat opening/expanding and had the sensation that something was going to come through or out of my throat. It was as though something increased the diameter of my throat to maybe 3 times its size. I can hardly remember the visuals because it was wild but I remember seeing a pinpoint or tiny tiny circle (that seemed significant) at the center of the image in my mind's eye. I tried to stay with it but the sensations were so startling that it started to dissolve. I wish I could remember more details. I definitely perceived beings watching me.

I really want to know what that was.

Very interesting experience. Start grounding your awareness in daily mindfulness meditation, go on YouTube and practice shamanic Breathwork and breathing exercises, also stay open minded. You've had a powerful experience, now keep going on your path. Let this inspire and motivate you to pursue Consciousness. Don't get hung up on experiences, for they come and they go. You probably were contacted by beings of a different vibration and energy. Remember you are Consciousness, ground yourself in your experience. Stay skeptical but stay open. Nobody can confirm what happened to you other than you. Don't get lost in other people's explanation. Mindfulness and curiosity are key. Have a look in the look into the religion daoism. I’ve recently been doing practices with them where you would have to put your tongue on the top of your mouth to allow the transfer of flow of energy throughout the body. This practice is called the microcosmic orbit.

@witpo44 Tongue can stimulate inner energetic points. It's common in high yogic practices for this occurences to happen.

Each stage can be extremely stimulant/mystical depending on your state of consciousness. Both by doing the tongue mudra you enter into altered states of consciousness but also from altered states of consciousness the tongue does this mudra on its own.

In some states of consciousness my tongue wanted so badly to do the kechari mudra but it did not have the flexibility for it, yet it self stimulated my inner cavities in extraordinary ways. If anything this is a good sign, an awakening of your body on a deeper level, you are accessing the biomemory and bioenergy of the body due to your heightened state of consciousness.

Wow, this was the right place to ask this! Thank you guys! I had no idea about microcosmic orbit. I was also really wondering if this was my throat chakra opening. I haven't found references to these sensations with regard to the throat chakra but its very possible. (I remembered later that I had the vision that my throat was a vast tunnel).  I'll add that for the last couple of years after doing a psilocybin retreat I have been yawning (in a purging way - deep and repetitive) nonstop so I definitely think energy is moving.

@witpo44 Everything indicates an energetic opening and an evolution of your bioenergy. I recommend you to self massage your throat spontaneously arround the day, enter into stillness and massage it in ways that feel good, it will tell you how to naturally open it. I've been 1year+ working on my throat chakra in this way, consider it as the bridge between the heart and brain, feeling and understanding, Love and Consciousness.

Something like this happened to me on Bufo Alvarius.  Your body is doing pranayama.  When you think of it the ancient Rishis must have discovered these techniques while in deep altered states of consciousness.
