Company I'm employed hires new people with no experience meanwhile I get no work...

I was scrolling linkedin and it pop up in the feed that my company hired a new developer, I entered into his profile and I saw the guy has 4 months of professional experience and as education just a cheap IT bootcamp...

Meanwhile I´ve been in the company almost 3 years, they haven´t given me work for months... what is the 'business logic' for this?

They don´t give me work yet every month I see new people being hired, quite disconcerting.

Also, can you try to tighten up the quality of your threads? Careless lack of punctuation and swearing... Not a great look.

I don´t know...looking for another job I guess?

Im constantly doubting between looking for another job or staying in this one and taking advantage of the free time to work on my life purpose.

Since I definetely do not see myself in the long future staying in my current career, I think is not wise either to invest time and energy starting from scratch in another company.

At the other hand since making money from my life purpose might happen years from now, I have to mindful I will have to earn a living in the meantime.

So is a tough decision.

It could be due to your bad relationships with your colleagues. You can read a book called emotional intelligence 2.0

That could not be... I always had very good relationships and so far all the projects ive been i had no complain from anyone...

Why do you ruminate for someone having been chosen for a job you didn't apply to ?

Probably if you had applied, you would have been choosen instead of him.

No, I mean the guy entered the company I´m currently working for.

This is survival / modern business. It’s competitive and to do well you have to constantly be pushing yourself for new skills, how to market yourself, networking, niching down, etc. And even then someone new could come along who has some interesting thing to offer and your clients could choose them over you because they like them more for that. Do not get so involved in the nitty gritty and tou definitely need to work on your inner voices and inner child to maintain your wellbeing in the face of adversity. This is why it’s so important to be journaling and doing self inquiry and keeping your mental health straight and mind clear. Get clear on your heart felt intentions and get a clear mind and then just strive and try your best. Don’t be looking around and getting distracted by what’s going on. You’re focusing on unfairness rather than yourself. Keep tabs on the outside for feedback, keep your ear to the ground, but don’t concern yourself with the unfairness of business. Just focus on you and believe in you because you can create your dream life if you do not falter.

What do you really want in life? I think getting crystal clear on what you want and your intentions is what’s most important. You sound like you lack guidance in this area of life. Do you actually want to be doing IT? Is your highest and true potential working for this company, in this job or field? You got to get clear because then everything else won’t matter, you’ll just have your own path to focus on.

@Lyubov No, I have not anymore any interest in IT more than it pays my bills.

Is not that I lack guidance is that what I want to do will take time to make me money, so in the meantime I have to do something. My country is not the best in terms of employment so in the back of my mind I always have subtle fear of losing my job. 

And so everyday I try to study something or whatever related to the field, just so I´m not literally being paid for doing nothing...although I have no interest at all in it, is quite nonsensical. Maybe I should just go to the pool tomorrow and enjoy the day 🤣 (I "work" remote)

So you and I are in a similar boat... Having to expand in some area of life which is more economically valued by society in order to maintain our survival and foundation in society, all the while balancing it with and living through our higher guidance which is leading us in a direction which doesn’t necessarily support our survival in society yet. 

So I can tell you this… today I was applying to work online in a new field. Would I rather have had this whole dimension settled and been out on the beach filming videos? Yes, but I realize this dimension I need to tend to is part of the whole, and I accept that, it’s what I need in order to pay the bills because I can’t follow my higher path if I’m broke.

I trust that it’s part of the puzzle which gives greater meaning to my passion and higher guidance which is making videos in the beach and making travel videos. So while it isn’t necessarily fun to apply for work all day it’s meaningful and important to me and in a weird way I actually did enjoy searching for work online today because I see it’s what’s going to create my dream life one day of having a successful YouTube channel. 
 

So if you’re discouraged, widen your perspective, the IT will play its role and keep walking your path to your true desires and living out your true potential. It’s possible bro don’t get discouraged

Maybe they have found out you are not really interested in the job and want someone more passionate. They can sense it.

The mind always crave for something else. For example, if you are the CEO of a big company and you have lots of tasks to oversee daily or you have to talk to media daily, you may yearn to have a more laidback life.

And if you are laidback, you want to be in the middle of something important for the company.

If you are a famous actor, you want some quiet time. If you are a nobody, you want to be famous.

Where i am you can't be fired without receiving big compensation and it takes some months. 🤔
