So why do you think you're not enlightened yet ?

 

Because you have to meditate more ?

Because you have to be more mindful ?

Because you aren't ready yet ?

Because you are too young ?

Because you are too old ?

Because you didn't go hardcore (retreat/dark room) ?

Because you're not open-minded enough ?

Because aren't intelligent enough ?

Because you hold too much beliefs ?

Because you are too egotic ?

Because you're a sinner ?

Because you have too much karma ?

Because you don't really believe in it ?

etc ...

 

All of this are conditions ...

 

What if

The reason why you aren't enlightened yet

 

IS THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO ?

Does anyone know something that will make you think you're gonna die, but it won't ?

I'm not necessarily talking about psychedelics, could be an activity or some tricks.

@Dingus Doesn't sound hardcore enough.

What would be fun to do, if you have a friend, is to tell you to buy a fake gun, and to point it at you in the back randomly in the year. Only problem is the voice, if the guy doesn't speak you know it's your friend.
