Lol Techlead is a crypto grift influencer putting up a satirical farce in his YouTube channel, he may know tech but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. Coffeezilla has done multiple videos on this:

Tech is the only sector that can be double downed on to come out of the economic bind the global economy is in.

Three main ways economic growth happens is:

- Pumping out babies ie Demographics (bigger population means larger production/consumer pools) this is as most know in rapid decline.

- Pumping cash into the system ie Debt (which is becoming too unsustainable) excessively inflationary and volatile amongst other things.

- Pumping up productivity ie having a larger output for a smaller input. 

The first two are no longer viable options. Technology and cheap energy are the modalities we have access to that can increase productivity. 

The economic can just keeps getting kicked down the road until some breakthrough happens in tech and energy. They can't let the world financial system go bust so they'll keep printing and injecting to keep it afloat. It's a bumpy ride.

But it is rapidly changing so you gotta stay on the cutting edge.

The next 10 years will be the hugest tech revolution ever. The problem is that it will be dominated by giant companies.

@Marvelllious I would recommend that you block TechLead. He's a scam artist.

Tech is arguably the most secure sector out there, currently. The need for good developers is only increasing.

Either go the uni route, and/or build an actual enterprise application with some complexity and original features that has actual use cases for potential consumers, ideally one you can charge money for.

If you showcase todo app number 10 million, you're not getting the job.

TechLead is the perfect example of a soulless rich guy who transcended survival through his talents in math/tech/programming, yet it's obvious it never was rewarding for him hence why he left, so now he's lost and makes these sort of "think piece" videos which don't apply to the vast majority of his audience, but still however his audience lives vicariously through him cause he's rich and more successful at tech than them. He's the type of guy that needs to go broke so he will shut the fuck up and refocus himself on a more meaningful intention in life. His videos have been like this for years now, amongst some terrible Elon Musk tier political takes.

He didn't transcend survival. He transcend the survival stage which is stage beige in SD. Big difference. No one can transcend survival unless he becomes God.

I see the opposite case. The same technology accessed by those giants could now be used by common folks. The market is saturated. Now is the time to offer what big tech is doing but at lower cost and faster speed.

This is the best time to be in tech, if you actually value building stuff. Jobs are going to be a thing of the past. 

You still can get jobs though, the bar is higher. Grinding a 3 month bootcamp and landing a 200k job was the plausibe for the last 10 years. Not anymore.
