I see myself as child

4 posts in this topic

I've almost solved people pleasing, but i always see myself as child. Relationship with adult was always hard for me and i was shy. And my appearance is also childish and maybe this is reason. What can i do about this guys? Is it familiar for you?

Do you feel that changing yourself or things about yourself is the way forward, or do you feel perhaps a strong need to just fully embrace yourself as you are? Or maybe you feel like you want to strike some sort of balance? What is your initial hunch about what you feel may need to happen?

Instead of continuously trying to make the right decision, experiment with making your decisions right instead (own up to them). Consciously making a commitment to a decision IS what makes it the right decision, regardless of the choices you had.

You see yourself as a child because you see yourself as a child

Adopt the identity of an adult and you will slowly mold into the beliefs and actions of an adult

Wear a wristband to remind yourself the affirmation " I am and adult "

Bonus points for defining " what is an adult? How does an adult behave ? How does an adult not behave? How does an adult think?

As you consistently think about it ,you will slowly change how you think and behave. It will become who you are

Human beings always act, feel and think in accordance with what they believe to be true about themselves and the world

@jacknine119 Have a kid.

Nothing wrong with being a kid as an adult unless you want to change. Just be a kid and take your responsibilities seriously.
