Is Social Media Ruining Relationships?

It definitely does! If you want a healthy relationship, you have to care. It sounds like you think that if someone has a girlfriend, they shouldn’t care if she has sex with others. What amazing logic you have!

Let the relationship crumble. What does it matter.

Well let’s say you are a girl and you love your partner, however you do have poor self-esteem and his isn’t giving you the confirmation you need.

For you it feels being starved of water. It’s not like you are intend to actually meet these people or cheat on anyone. You are suffering and everyone else is doing this, so why shouldn’t you? He never even said he mind this, maybe people will be jealous of him?

Arguably I’d never date a girl like this but I can certainly see their perspective.

But I’m talking about social media, a sexy photo being posted. I’m not talking about problems in the relationship or that she needs to meet another guy who can show her that she is enough as she is. What I’m saying is that there are women who seek praise and attention from other guys even though their boyfriend has shown it to them. Why does she need to strive for more love and validation from others? It doesn’t add up.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

The therapist did a poor job, as I can see.

Sorry for not keeping my promise.

I thought you were going to stop writing to me? It seems like you have trouble keeping promises, which is a red flag if you ever get a girlfriend.

I understand that a healthy relationship may require certain boundaries and commitments. But I'm saying why do you care if other people are not following those things? Because it bothers only you it seems.

Because I have empathy, I’m not selfish.

Haha, lol. Empathy is compassion, not frustration. You need to look deeper.

Yeah and I’m sure most are giving their gfs some attention and confirmation. But is it enough? What if they have a fight and he doesn’t don’t give her any for a few days?

She still needs it and a photo is real easy to take and post.

I don’t think she’d would mind if he posted a foto.

Wrong. Empathy can include frustration.

Let’s say they do fight; then they need to talk instead of ignoring each other. You don’t post online just because one day was bad.

I see that you keep them by giving backhanded compliments, which won't last long. 🚩

Stop dissing me for not agreeing, and I'll stop treating you the same way. Pinky promise?

How can you be mad at someone that you feel empathy for? These two are opposite to each other. Once you feel empathy for someone, you feel love and compassion for them, not judgement and frustration.

I love the person but not the action. There is fair judgment; stop seeing it as something negative and look at it positively.

The only fair judgment is love and compassion, not condemnation. And frustration indicates the latter.

With your logic, you’re saying that if I saw a woman being raped, I shouldn’t tell the man that he is wrong? Wow, you have really thought this through.

If you love the person, would you not forgive them their wrongdoings? And if your forgiveness is true, where is the room for frustration?

You really do not understand what I’m trying to say. I forgive the person, but they should not need to do it again.
