How to have a perfect day.

Why can’t I just lay down at the park and stare up at the trees in perfect bliss? Why do I imprison myself with the inherent dissatisfaction of needing to become somebody?

Consumerism is slavery in disguise. Indoctrinating minds into believing that they “need” x to be happy. Of course everyone strives to be happy. Hence if you control people’s desires, you control their behavior

Because happiness is a narcotic your mind uses to keep you surviving.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@PenguinPablo You can do that though for awhile. I do it.

You can learn to be satisfied. Many not permanently.

Striving for “ultimate happiness” is IMO overrated.

For me it is precisely the growth/ work of becoming someone that makes me fulfilled. It is also deeper, because even in the shittiest of days, I still feel I am doing the right thing.

I tried being content with existence as is for almost a year. Too much resistance. I realized I have a lot of karma to burn through. Good thing is, bliss is always there to be found if you want to come back to it. So don’t feel bad at all for wanting to explore consciousness.

Curious for your input if you have time @Keryo Koffa

Have an insight into no-self and impermanence. Then you’ll realize how futile all of this self-torture to become “somebody” is.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

This is the low point in your life like a trampoline compressed. From this realisation it gives you the drive in order to choose how you want your life to be. So you can propel into love and positivity if you like. Without the compression you couldn’t jump up.

Remember live is like a maze. It’s not obvious which direction to go to, but if you choose a spiritual path with a living master and you never assume that you’re not arrogant. This can get you the tools to find the tools to put yourself in the positive part of the maze.

Anyone who says they’re enlightened on this form in anyway is not, except me I am.

Your ego lies to you that happiness is outside and you know no different

All spirituality's launch point is, the kingdom of heaven is within you

You would never have doubted the ego on your own

and so thank your stars that someone somewhere informed you of this

Only after you embark on the path will every day at last be perfect

Until then enjoy the coveting chasing clinging ... while it lasts

The very desire to be happy is what's creating the unhappiness. You're telling yourself that you're not happy by searching for happiness.
