That's super cringe, thinking you can make a deal with the Devil.

The fact that Elon Musk is now the gatekeeper of what happens at the Pentagon is fucking insane.

On what planet does Cenk really think that Trump and everyone around him are even seriously considering enacting even one iota of any of those true populist policies?

Hitler also won. Doesn't mean you should make deals with him, trust him, or cozy up to him.

“I’ve wanted to share this for so long. But I remember you said Hitler won ‘democratically,’ and then I saw this picture.

Tulsi is corrupt and bad? She seems ok, I saw an interview of her at Piers Morgan show.

Did not get radical vibes from her neither fascist vibes.

The biggest issue I heard of her is that she is accused as being too Pro Russia but seems like bs allegation to me.

But that is foreign policy.

Perhaps, but Dems are caught in a catch-22. Ripping into him for daring to question is exactly what his post is about, while he's also making the point that he's being met with the opposite attitude from the right. By continuing to advance that predictable pattern, he'll be pushed rightward even quicker. At least in terms of allegiance if not policy.

If that happens, I would mostly blame Cenk.

Yes, people will rip into you when your ideas are shit. That's what happens.

You have to be smart enough to realize the problem is you.

I get what you're saying, but I wonder if we maybe just shouldn't rip into others, even if their ideas are shit. Take myself for example. Do you often see me aggressively tearing someone down in conversation? The viewing of opinions I don't like usually isn't enough to make me lash out. I think it's just simply not an effective strategy for persuading others to your point of view, or even just for a productive back and forth conversation to search for a middle-ground truth.

Mike Johnson has banned transgenders from using the public bathroom at the Capitol. It’s the Lavender Scare all over again.

Meanwhile, the Jan 6 rioters shat all over the entire Capital, and Trump was elated and turned on.

Peak Clownery Unlocked!

Sarah McBride has given a graceful and mature response:

”I’m not here to fight about bathrooms, I’m here to fight for Delawareans and to bring down costs facing families. Like all members, I will follow the rules as outlined by Speaker Johnson, even if I disagree with them. This effort to distract from the real issues facing this country hasn’t distracted me over the last several days.

Serving in the 119th Congress will be the honor of a lifetime, and I continue to look forward to getting to know my future colleagues on both sides of the aisle. Each of us were sent here because voters saw in us something that they value. I have loved seeing those qualities in the future colleagues that I’ve met and I look forward to seeing those qualities in every member come January. I hope all of my colleagues will seek to do the same with me.”

That only works when people are interested in a fair conversation.

Yeah, probably so. I'm sure there are some (or many) in which no effort towards finding common ground is given. When it is possible, though, conciliation still seems like the ideal method to me.

Ripping into others is a distraction. What's necessary is to see others clearly and to stand for good values and not be bullshitted or corrupted by others' pervertry and devilry.

This isn't personal, it's about truth, consciousness, and timeless principles of wisdom.
