Nice! I think IT should be somewhat safe... until the robots get here.

Perhaps marginally safer, but I've seen some layoffs I never would have imagined. People who were considered essential, until they suddenly weren't, lol.

🌻 Thinking independently about the spiral stages themselves is important for going through them in an organic, efficient way. If you stick to an external idea about how a stage should be you lose touch with its real self customized process trying to happen inside you.

Ok look, imagine a similar Trump cult of personality type candidate that is charismatic, does the whole social media stuff and rejects mainstream media. Runs a populist / antiestablishment style campaign with Bernie Sanders type social programs, anti Israel, working class pro union message, drops all the culture war gender crap but still is pro gay marriage, pro abortion. This person could take on Trumpism.

Such politicians basically don't exist.

You can only pick from actual candidates.

Gavin Newsom is like the strongest candidate Dems got right now. And still progressives hate on him.

The thing about Trump is he can be easily manipulated. I think if someone clever but with good intentions got in his ear they could get him to do some good if they frame things in a way that works.

Maybe Douglas Macgregor and Judge Nap could convince Trump to meet with Jeffrey Sachs

RFK is in the best position to get Trump to modify his position on climate change.

It’s because the party has a major gatekeeping problem. It was once thought of as a way of protecting from an outside takeover. People were actually applauding all these insider tricks, super delegates and safeguards back in 2016 and how it was keeping the party safe from fringe guys like Bernie. Can you believe this shit in hindsight ???? Liberals were laughing at the republicans in 2016 for how their party was getting overtaken by Trump and look at where we are now. Dems actively protect neoliberalism thinking it’s “the way” like Republican protect their guns and bible shit. We can’t develop bold new ways of being and functioning if we aren’t ready to let go of what is not working. A establishment old guard candidate is absolutely not the way anymore. These new candidates will form if we actually change the party.

He won't modify anything relative to his stance on climate change.

Just look at how all the oligarchs kiss the Devil's ass for power:

You see it all so clearly.

haha, brilliant. Trump is their new daddy.

If truth is the guide, there's no need for ideology, right or left.

Maturity in discussion means the ability to separate ideas from identity so one can easily recognize new, irrefutable information as valid, and to fully integrate it into one’s perspective—even if it challenges deeply held beliefs. Both recognition and integration are crucial: the former acknowledges truth, while the latter ensures we are guided by it.

All of Republicans and MAGA are pure neoliberalism. They haven't invented anything new. There's not even anything they need to protect against because they are all neoliberals.

In practice sure but their populist messaging is very different and that does affect elections

This is laughable. He will get nothing from the Devil.

I can't believe you guys really think that the Devil will do favors for you after you unleash him onto the world. It's lunacy.

After you gave the Devil full control, you will get nothing! He's not gonna give you better climate.

I can already see people begging for liberalism by 2028.

@Inliytened1 How is Harris even likable? No one in her own party liked her.

Harris for real would have been insufferable. I couldn't imagine being lectured about minority rights, women's rights and democracy. She is insufferable in both looks and talks.

I would vote for someone who does things for me. It's plain and simple.

Trump offered financial benefits for everyone. So there is a appeal for Trump atleast on paper.

You can base your campaign on minority stuff given that majority are doing well and good. That was nearly not the case here.

Exactly.  But she's likeable in that she isn't a narcissist.  As far as we know at least.   She exhibits the "good guy" persona.  But the good guys will leave us high and dry.

And no one would be saying anything had she won.  They would be proclaiming her as the first woman to reach President and they would be idolizing her.

Thinking all Kamala brought to the table was "minority rights" and "green bullshit" is ignorance.

Running a campaign on minority rights and green bullshit, things people don't care about, when you bring more to the table is incompetence.

Look at their cringe inducing ad on Men.

Let’s be real here though elections aren’t won based on policy. It’s all about stringing together a narrative that speaks well to the people. Dems don’t do that. They think because they are so smart and so respecting of the rule of law and how everyone should respect the institutions that people will vote for them. People don’t resonate with that message anymore.

I'm seeing many new age people I know praising Trump's win because they think RFK is going to implement all their alternative health, hippy nonsense.

This is the ignorance in full effect.

All of Trump's staffs will be at each other's throats , always stabbing each other in the back or forming small circles to conspire against other small circles in order to curry more favor or gather more wealth.

@Leo Gura How do you sort the fact from fiction?

For ex. recently trump said he wants to stop all wars, or something like that. Most likely that is one of his bullshit games. But a) how do you know what he says, as president and leader going forward, is true or not? and b) in general is there strategies for sorting truth from fiction? I have been wondering this for a while.

Especially in politics, news, even books, it's a mess out there to sort through.
