Don’t get complacent. The Yankees can still win the World Series after getting their assess kicked for a while there.

Oh wait, they lost, nevermind xD

This year's World Series is a good analogy of election day with McDonald being from NY and Kamala being from CA, we hope!

As of November 1st, 2024, the polling shows a dead even tie in Pennsylvania, which is a swing state.

From the perspective of divine play, you Americans are entertaining beyond belief.

From the perspective of ego, as a European, this reifies a sense of superiority that is probably unjustified, even on a relative level. Admittedly, though, there is a perverted pleasure in that. Schadenfreude. The loud, pretentious, egotistical, ideological narcissist, who has been pulling everybody down, who is unwilling to grow up and be world-centric, and who has been poisoning world culture, especially the Global West through the internet for years, finally gets humbled – or not, which is a lot worse.

From the perspective of being, this separation is nonsense and it just breaks my heart. What in the actual fuck. There is nothing entertaining about it. There is no superiority either, unfortunately. It's all happening within me, and wonder what I can do about it.  It's happening within us and I feel impotent. WE ARE US. You are not different from me or I from you. People in the US must understand this, not pretend it, but really know and experience.  I love you, truly, Americans, even though it is so easy to ridicule. Your original cultural paradigm, real or not, is one of the most beautiful ever: being a free and equal individual, realizing opportunity, even though it is dangerous, and having courage to really give it a shot in this life. There is a reason people went over. This is below your dignity, below our dignity as Consciousness, below the dignity of your moms tight gay asshole or whatever. This feels meaningless. At least I expressed myself. I love you. Go suck a dick, and for once, don't let it be your own.

One of the superheroes on Trump's team, Tucker Carlson, was led to God after he was attacked by a demon in the middle of the night. Alex Jones can confirm it's true.

This is the worst acting I've seen Tucker do.

I just like to show the lies on the side of the left, because it's a dominating belief here how they are such angels and trump the literal devil, when in case they are all pretty much equally corrupt, just that one side puts on this false facade of being the good guys.

And because how they gaslight people about what Biden said and just change the words and bend the rules a little.

Quite interresting how Kamala would try to cheat, no?

True. The fear is overblown on both sides. There are enough checks and balances to hinder anything ridiculous getting through. This too shall pass. There are macro cycles we are part of that no candidate or party can change the course of, except maybe tweak what shoes are worn during the cycle.

She's a joke

To be fair, they both are. It's just interesting how this forum only sees Trump as the bad guy.

How high is the chance that Trump would not be too bad after all?

This question comes from daringly naive perspective.

Still I'm curious, how high do you guess is the probability of Trump repeating his first term & how over inflated are the 'doomy gloomy world ends' scenarios people talk about in relation to Trump's potential 2nd term? I mean, he's a corrupt business man, not a Hitler or Putin. I don't think he is interested in WW3 or disasters for his own country. So how bad could it be?

Just to be clear, I would vote for Harris and I understand how bad it could be, I'm just curious how probable it is and how much over inflation of worst case scenarios there is. I'm trying to form a clear sober picture of the actual situation and risk here.

Like should I be packing my bags and flying to Argentina kind of thing...

As a Brit the likely consequences for us would be a weakening of American global power which means we'll have to rapidly increase spending on our own military, particularly our naval assets to ensure European security and safe passage of oil/gas.

Americans might see this as a good thing but it fundamentally means the end of the American empire and global power.

Trump does not have the power to call the election winner. Because he is a coward and will not call Kamala to congratulate her if she were to legitimately win.

In his world, only he wins.

Kamala is a status quo politician while Trump is an absolute con artist. This isn't a matter of opinion. It's either true or false. You say it's false but many highly intelligent people disagree with you. There's a growth opportunity here if you can figure out how to acknowledge what is actually true. Don't get stuck thinking all those people who think it's true are biased just because you see idiots on the left echo what is true.

Concluding the two are equally corrupt is massive epistemic failure and concluded by using emotional reasoning, as opposed to impartial analysis.

I do think there's a potential flaw in this method of knowing, though. Using spirituality as an example, what proportion of highly intelligent people do you believe would reject the claim of spirituality existing in the literal sense? For that matter, what proportion of all people on the planet do you think would have a solid grasp on what it actually is?

I'm not completely ignorant to what you're trying to express here, but using popular acceptance as a marker for truth has failed humanity in the most hardcore way imaginable. There has to be a better way to know what's true.
