Backpack to a Bugatti in 8 years - Story of Llados

@Keryo Koffa Very different.

A quarter million dollar status symbol vs self medical lab on my finger that if used properly could improve my health for the rest of my life.

But, if your pointing to relativity in how people spend money, sure.

Health is one of my top values, and 500 dollars is a small investment to make.

When I buy cars, I will not buy the most expensive car, etc.

"I am gonna work my ass off for the next 10 years so I can buy an Oura ring" or, "I am gonna plant trees for one day and buy an Oura Ring". Very different.

If this ring helps me make positive changes in my life, increase productivity and focus it could earn me a million dollars which I will not waste on a fast car when I can only go the speed limit anyway. I am more of a used Honda CRV kind guy.

@Javfly33 Notice how people who drive fast cars could.. 1. Rent them for videos… 2. Buying a car means you don’t have the money because you spent it on a car.

Look, if you enjoy fast cars go for it. But, if you think it’ll make you happy… which, is I think what we truly want when we pursue success don’t think it’ll make you happy. The foolishness, and we are all different but as a general rule, the foolishness it thinking a fast car will make you happy. In reality, most people do not care. Status symbols are not wealth, they are not success, and they are not happiness.

Buying a fast car, after 10 years a hard work, scamming others or whatever a lot of these social “successes” do… is extremely shallow and generally isn’t the same thing as authentic success and happiness which requires a deeper cultivation and purpose than making money and buying stuff to show off…

When I see someone showing off a Ferrari I cringe.

I mean, you will be successful. I believe you’ll achieve whatever you wanna do.

It's interesting because I think the same thing as you. But sometimes I catch myself thinking like this :P

Just in the first 5 minutes he talks about how he almost died out of his hedonous lifestyle, lol!

Actually a good talk to study for us who opt for a healthier path. Charging 80 bucks a month for a list of exercises is INSANE.
