How to be perfectly happy and what is ego - short discourse

23 posts in this topic

Had a session with a teacher who I believe gets it and since then I’ve been perfectly happy, so I want to share the main insight that brought me to this state:

There’s nothing to ego without resistance. Ego is like a nooo against what is happening Now. It’s an attack on the present moment.

All we have to do to be happy is to say no to the ego’s no and what remains is perfect present happiness. So efortless. So peaceful. So simple.

Just let go of the ego’s judgement against others and the world and flow. Perfect Happiness.

Just stop resisting what’s happening now. Why resist the Divine Flow of life? All things are working for our good, so resisting it is like saying to God - you are a dummy, what you are creating is bad.

Even pain is not a problem without resistance.

Life is perfectly handled and everything works out if we simply go with the flow without judging and resisting and seeking.

Don’t seek for exalted states, money, or anything else. What you need is always given. And if you get attatched and make something an idol - life will take it away to teach you not to do that 😝

Then we can relax into being and be on our way to enlightenment.

No need to struggle, no need to meditate for 10hrs per day, just stay present when it occurs to you and that’s it, everything is handled.

We simply relax deeper and deeper into stillness until the mind stops forever and we re-emerge into non-dual Godhood forever. 🕊️

The present moment, if it’s not resisted, is always perfect and happy. Nothing is ever lacking. All is given all is well. Nothing to figure out, no more concepts, no more metaphysics, just silence, flow, presence.

Sucu a mistake to try to resist your desires, to manage diet, seek for money, and other things. That’s also resistance and lack of trust in God. All is taken care of. Just trust in Him and flow with Him, he is Life and you are One with Him.

Concepts are such a trap, the ego can take spiritual concepts and continue resisting, suffering, but thinking that he’s improving. Nono, drop all concepts, stop resisting, flow, trust, be still. Nothing to learn. No one to teach.

Let go of the past, put the future in God’s hands and just fall inlove with Now. The simplicity and beauty of Now 🖤

Just enjoy the present until the end of all dreaming, even though dreaming is already Heavenly when we are in the Now without resisting or seeking. 🕊️🕊️🖤🖤

It's OK if you resist though. Or else you will be resisting resistance .you can't get it wrong .all is exceedingly well.

To someone who have been raised as Christian..sure . I was raised as a Hindu..which is probably the most rich spirtual tradition ever .just take a look at the Bhagavad Gita or Upanishad or Vedas ..it knocks down the Bible . But i have not allowed myself to be closed minded and brainwashed by my upbringing and I explored all religions (like Islam and Christiantiy ) .i think all these religions are trying to point to the same thing ..which is what @CoolDreamThanks is saying .

Okay let me rephrase,

"there's nothing better than worship of glory in general in whatever form you resonate the most"

@CoolDreamThanks good post .bookmarked .

everyone wants happiness..but they look for it in the wrong ways . That's why people smoke cigarettes or snort Cocaine or jerkoff endlessly to pornography or get married or acquire money or even seek spirituality and wisdom and truth and they try everything under the sun and it does not work .it's impossible to work .you will die at the end ..so how is it supposed to work lol? 😂

You must drop everything. Become totally empty and carefree. Just allow God or reality or whatever to do it's thing without any involvement from your ego .

Sure, then you die of hunger and see your kids sold in a brothel and how the rats eat your mother, sounds wonderful. This discourse of: don't resist, etc , implies that all the humans in history were so stupid, but hey, here we are so smart with the solution. Seems like 6 years old kids trying to fix the world.

@CoolDreamThanks First go to the war, then talk.  It's easy to say those things in your comfortable house with food and internet. Say the same from a jail in Nigeria, then I would believe. Life is not a kids game.

Dude look..we've had this kind of conversation numerous times ..

First off  ..you gotta chill the fuck out and not be passive aggressive..

Appreciate this forum and getting to have deep profound discussions about the deepest pools of life with like-minded people instead of schooling everyone all the time .

You seriously want to convince me  that you know better than all the spiritual teachers since the dawn of time ? That you know better how to live a good life ? And how to end suffering?

Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional. An animal experiences pain but because it doesn't have an ego or a worldview or a psychological persona it doesn't create suffering..it is just pain ..mere meaningless sensations.

And look at ya ..you wise human..creating your own suffering by imagining these terrible scenarios..why the fuck are you choosing to focus on what "might " go wrong in life ?

If you are not a 6 yo kid and such  a fucking enlightened monk why not focus on how life is beautiful?  Do you appreciate your food and Internet?

Meh there is no answer...

I guess that you mean those enlightened monks that were feeded by the farmers who works all day. Seems comfortable preach detachment from that position. For me, I prefer to work for my food.

True 😁 I’m just learning something new all the time and I’m always open to a new POV.

I think until there’s perfect happiness and a feeling or completion there’s room for growth. Hope this stays with me 🖤🕊️

It's a hard ask to accept that suffering and horror can be seen differently, especially when brought face to face with the monstrous acts happening in our midst. Yet, the challenge faced is not as much about the external events, but the personally assigned meanings. For example, wars, sex-trafficking and genocide, when seen via fear and judgment, indeed look horrific, inhumane, and unbearable. But this narrative is coming from my attachment. I am the one labelling things in such and such a way, I am projecting my past pain, and in doing so, it is I who make these concrete. The situation there is simply unfolding as it must, based on the circumstances of those involved. And yet, nothing that happens in this world can truly harm who a person is at the core.

What’s liberating is that, at some deeper level, nothing in the world affects the supreme truth of who we are. The real horror, if any, is not what happens outside of us, but the violence of a mind that insists on making it personal. The devastation feels real because we assign value to it, but beyond that, there is nothing there that can actually touch us. On holding back any judgement, I am free to see the spark of light everywhere, even in things I used to consider dark or tragic. It doesn't mean I am heartless - it means I can see without being torn apart. Life is not as it seems, and the only thing that needs shifting is the way I perceive it. The world rolls on, but I can choose reality, even in the midst of chaos.

The thing is that everything that you said could be true but even that, the ego has its place, and I respect it a lot. The human ego, and also my ego, has great power. I fought hard to floating, planning, executing, a war, and I'm still in it. What is the other option? Misery? Slavery? No, I want a better experience, I am life and life fights. Those monks could say their histories about detachment, for me are cowards who avoid life. Life is figth and suffering, and that's beautiful. If tomorrow I know that I ve a disease that prevent me to move then I will stop, but if I can move I will. That doesn't prevent being open to the absolute, opposite, that's the flow of life, if you do consciously it's perfect, you swim with the current

I always envy your commitment, focus and drive. True strength from my vantage point lies in recognizing that it's good to move with the flow of life while letting go of the need to maintain control - and thus allow existence to reveal its mysteries naturally and in so doing bring about the exalted state you desire right here and right now.

And I envy the relaxation and the abandon of a monk but this is not my way, at least not now.
