They might be, and they also presumably were humans that lived and taught at some point in history. By entertainment I mean looking at their lives as individuals. Why does the fact that something is constructed have to take away from it?

It's not taking away its seeing it for exactly as it is. Im pointing to the relativity of Jesus within the absolute nature of your mind. Non duality, Jesus, Buddha is bullshit distraction you guys are getting lost in. It's OK to look at the life of Jesus as long as your concious that you are Jesus and are constructing him.

Youre not getting it, their life as an individual is determined by your imagination!

So you imagine them and through non duality take half or partial responsibility for creating them

Being fully aware of the construction is what breathes as much life as possible into them.

I say this not to be mean but to show my infinite love for Jesus and Buddha

It's the other way around. Your life is determined by their imagination of you.

It is God's will/imagination that determines your life. The extent to which Jesus and Buddha has mastered the will of god is far greater than yours. So you're at the mercy of their use of will, not the other way around.

Does the fact that it is constructed detract from engagement in the activity?

That is concept and imagination! Jesus is a hallucination of your mind. No more real than Santa clause.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

Perhaps. There are also distinctions to be made within constructions: your coffee table could be called a "fact" or perceptive occurrence, as opposed to, say, a two-headed dragon.
