Thinking for yourself is overrated (at times)

it's seems most appropriate to search for truth after you have some success surviving.

The search for truth is completely equal to obtaining the ultimate survival. what does both sides of the Ukraine war on both sides of the Israel war have in common? Both of them don’t know truth well enough.

Anyone who says they’re enlightened on this form in anyway is not, except me I am.

Surely, every idea I have is partly a repetition of something I've heard before. What I meant to ask is, when do you rely on your own logical reasoning?

I also read your response again, but I don’t quite understand what you mean by "inner guidance." It seems like any thought could be labeled as inner guidance. You and Leo talk about intuition and inner guidance as if they are real, but to me, it just feels like emotion. That same inner guidance could tell me something completely different tomorrow.

Also I appreciate your responses, you responded to a lot of threads, and you write well. Thanks.

Thank you. By inner guidance I mean, listen to the heart. Sometimes I ignore the heart and go with what the mind says, and I realize that if I had just listened to the heart I wouldn't be in the position I was in at the time. It takes awareness and keen observation to start to trust the difference between the heart and egoic mind. One feels tense, contracted, loud and anxious, doubtful (ego) and the other, very quiet, intuitive, makes one feel less anxious, relaxing, pure, non-resistant, like it's coming from a higher source and it feels like the right thing to do. It's kind of hard to explain the difference on paper, but one starts to develop this as they are more in tune to the body's response and how it makes you feel afterwards.

A lot of people ask advice or ask for suggestions on how to do things because they are in conflict with the mind and heart. (not speaking about  practical "how-to-do" questions like how to fix things or how to get a job done perse, more like how should I deal with this situation or how to cope with such and such abstract questions, then they'll rebut your suggestions or give excuses as to why what you're suggesting is wrong or won't work. Reason is, the heart already gave them the answer but the egoic mind identity is what's running the show and they are in conflict with both. Listen to the heart, it never fails. Just have to learn how. It's usually the one that feels good.
