🏔 Spiral dynamics can be limited, or it can be unlimited if one's development is constantly reflected in its interpretation.

Can someone please explain to me why Israel is employing questionable methods? What sparked their rage? This does not come about randomly for no reason

- it’s not questionable, it’s normal for colonial movements

- radical movements and racism

- because of lobbying and silencing critics they get away with it

It's just surprising to me how the UK can be so supportive of Israel so publicly in the media. They aren't typically ones for being heavily supportive of war criminal campaigns. But then again, I seem to be discovering the unbelievable depths of systemic, widespread stupidity that exist at government levels these days. Its obviously got to do with Christianity as well...all the older gens seem to be against Palestine in UK.

But it would be interesting for me to find out what exactly caused Israel to become so aggressive. I find it hard to believe that they just woke up one day and decided "hey let's become extremely unnecessarily heavy handed and become war criminals" for no reason at all...

There is the possible answer that's it's just down to basic escalation...but something tells me it's more than that...

the UK itself colonized countries once, and at one time supported apartheid South Africa. When humans see untapped resources they can take or a population they can exploit they have a way of convincing themselves doing so is the right thing.

It’s a bad cycle of israel having to collectively punish Palestinians to keep them expelled and subjugated to maintain a Jewish state, making Palestinians and surrounding countries radicalized and attack, making Israel feed into its victim complex and become more militarized and dehumanize the Palestinians more.

They lobbied governments and media intensely so the older Gen grew up during a time where Israel’s crimes were hidden and it was portrayed as morally righteous and the victim. In the past you would get blacklisted for criticizing them.

Now that changed thanks to alt-media as well as Israel becoming less appealing to liberal westerners as it became more right wing so the younger generation turns against them.

@Raze Im just dipping my toes into some unfamiliar territory here lol. Politics is very complex. It's obvious that Israel has been a naughty boy even though I was indoctrinated with right wing information through my entire life. Was Israel not the OG owners of that area of land? It would explain (but wouldn't justify) why they're being so reactionary. Like it actually reminds me of my own countries political problems, northern Ireland...when the Brits took over Ireland and started fucking them up they reacted with blowing Belfast to high hell for 30 years, and while employing terrorist methodologies was clearly the wrong way, the essence of their motivation was correct, it was originally their land...

Im probably way off the mark as I need to educate myself way more about this all but yeh

Your grandparents are older than Israel

There was always Jews on that land as well as in the Middle East in general

There were other people there too

The same Jews that used to live there 2,000 years ago are not the same ones that "returned"

Theres much more to it then that but you gotta already have the basics on this topic if you want to talk advanced points
