As I research visual inspiration for an upcoming project, I stumbled upon Bioluminescence, here are some of the coolest pictures I have found so far.

It is produced by a chemical reaction in organisms, where luciferin reacts with oxygen, catalyzed by luciferase. It's used for attracting mates, deterring predators, or luring prey.

Beautiful! I've never seen it in person, but I've seen many pics and videos about it

Google or ChatGPT "Angler fish" and you will find something interesting.

It has a bulb on its head. (Due to Bioluminiscence).

The bulb (esca) is there to attract prey. In the dark depths of the ocean, the anglerfish uses the light from its esca to lure curious or unsuspecting prey close enough to be ambushed and captured. It acts as a hunting tool in the absence of sunlight.
