@Leo Gura, what I wanted to say is that visual and auditory fields are distinct. Not only are there good shapes but also good sounds for each person.

For example, a person could be not that appealing to me visually, yet the whole auditory experience, i.e., their voice, intonation, the meaning and the rhythm of their words, could make them more appealing than their shape.

That's why I said you can use your imagination when you look only at a shape. For example, I can imagine people's voices as if they're talking next to me. It often is more real to me, as in, it can take the whole auditory experience than the imagined image in my visual field.
