I love the blog post about opinions, (post #107).  It's something that I've become cognizant of and have been doing for several weeks now. Limiting the opinions I have and also trying not to have as many, for some of the same reasons you've stated. These are the kinds of practices I do, or things that start to fall away when certain things are noticed or realized. I don't even think I'm purposely doing it, I think it's just a natural response mechanism because there isn't much effort involved.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

I wanted to express a feeling I've been having lately Leo. In a way Actualized.org is losing its edge.

Your parasocial sensei don't share your values bro :D

You want me to be a strong classical leader, and I appreciate that, but I am more of an anti-leader.

Is this related to your ideas of Power and how it corrupts? I remember you wanting to make an episode on that. Is that what you fear, or what's holding you back from going big and popular in this work: that your career may stray yourself from truth if pursued too hard? Or is it simply not something you want?

I deconstructed everything so much that I disillusioned myself on many things, like the fantasy of being a spiritual teacher, having a career, being popular, being admired, leaving a legacy, saving mankind, doing good for the world. These are fantasies. Being a leader is a kind of fantasy too.

@Leo Gura Damn Leo, are we gonna have to call for a welfare check on ya? What happened to the optimistic nihilism and being able to enjoy the fantasy and all it's meaninglessness or whatever, this is depressing :(

He has found much better things to do. Careful not to project depression onto the word "disillusioned."

Being disillusioned is AMAZING. It means you are no longer shackled to petty nonsense.

Leo may be the only Free one among us. Pity is a trap!

I still have serious spiritual work to do and if I made a bunch of commitments to business, career, etc I would never do it.

In order to really grow I had to stop making videos as I did for 10 years.

What do you consider as spiritual work these days? More tripping?

I don't trip any more. For health reasons.

Likely both. He has clearly stated in the past that you're a fool if you think you can get away with no damage from psychedelics

That's the thing Illusion gives one a meaning to do something and find happiness in the path .

Sometimes I feel like it's worse to be disillusioned cuz than I'll just waste my life sitting around contemplating and tripping ,And have no will to pursue anything .

Maybe I'm not ready for Spiritual work I'm 19 rn maybe I'll do this stuff when I'm like 40 or something .There seems no point to waste my life sitting around contemplating.

At that age you need more constructing than deconstructing.
