Leo what is your take on funerals? Have you attended a family or relative funeral? Are you sad and go through mourning phases like those around you? Or do you see it so differently, therefore affected differently?

Never been. Don't know. All my relatives in Russia basically.

I have reached this Love, not completely, but enough to understand that love is acceptance, inclusion and embracing not just the good but the foolishness and ignorance and so called 'bad". Your blog post on the suffering of development is something I resonate with. I see how through each threshold of development there is an uncomfortable and serious self reflection and understanding of how wrong I am in so many areas of my life, from the most taken for granted ways to the most obvious ways. I've noticed this with psychedelics, there is a point in the trip where it gets serious. Seriously seeing how self deceived I am and how wrong I am in light of my own consciousness. Facing this depth of wrongness within myself is difficult but I have the wisdom to see that by facing myself in a new light, I am bringing the light of consciousness and shining it on what's deeply unconscious. Self Deception is God's ability to Deceive itself. Self-Trickery is a great word. The great Joker as Alan Watts likes to say.

I have reached levels of consciousness that forever changes how I see criminals, schizophrenics and psychopaths.  Not because I condone such behavior but because I can see that it's all God living through itself so totally that it literally threatens your sense of reality, morality and beliefs of what is going on. Not that what these people are doing I agree with or think it's right, relative to my survival and human bias!!! That is the important insight.

Was this true for Carl Jung?

I really like this talk because it happened exactly the same to me.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. Great Blog post on "But Why Christianity?"

It's the first solid comparative religion analysis I have seen from you. I would like to give some other interesting angles to see this from. Religion in its purest sense is an Awakening technology designed to achieve a particular set of states of consciousness which are assumed to be "the highest, most complete or best"

There's an ideological and epistemically ignorant way of going about religion. There's also a proper way of framing religion where it becomes indispensable for building the blocks towards Absolute God from where you'll have to burn the inferior human base. In this sense, I find that religion for the proper mystic and philosopher allows delving into prior experiences from saints and derive principles and access to certain states of consciousness. For example, it would have taken me a lot to decipher myself the "Tao" it's a particular insight and consciousness property, yet it is reflected in Taoism, you can use the technology and hopefully not get entangled too much, get the superb Tao and deconstruct from your mind Taoism.

I know I wouldn't be where I am if I wasn't standing in the shoulder of giants, like Sri Anandamayi Ma, Shivapuri Baba, Adidam or you Leo. To arrive to you, there was an unbroken study of mystics and religious techniques that holistically built up to higher levels of synthesis and purity and in such levels to the deconstruction of masters, religions and the labyrinthine Mind of God to break free into Infinite Consciousness.

Having said this, I'd like to shift towards a conversation about being human. I've become aware that I share many Awakening values with you and that they also have lead me towards a furthering of what makes me human, towards more evolved alien mature ways of cognition, behavior and consciousness. In hardcore introspection I feel there's something out of tune, and in some way I see it also in you. I'm talking about such subtle matters that it's hard to even make my point across. Okay, let's assume to go hardcore in the opposite way of transcendentalism and limitlessness towards insane grounding and integration into the human frame. I've awoken so much and matured so much that my primal and animal humanness has been shadowed. I'm aware of the human frameworks and jails, yet I don't want this awareness to make me lose the connection, love, integration and joy of being a basic chimpanzee cleaning its ass in the jungle.

@Davino I understand you. Yes, being a better human is important and part of this work.

I see it as a back and forth process. You dive down to the bottom of the ocean to swim with the whales, then you emerge onto land and figure out ways to apply the lessons the whales gave you into your tribal life. And you share them with your tribe both through word and deed. You keep doing this over and over again until you become a saintly whale walking among men.

So there's no contradiction and no false choice. You do both, using one side to lever the other.

I really loved this metaphor. I am going to rephrase my thinking to depthness instead of highness. The archetype of the bird now needs to be shifted to the whale, diving deep into the essence of what means to be me and what reality is.

It was very poetic, grounded and applicable. Thanks for your message.

Lately, I've been acutely aware of how far away I've become in spirit and mind to other humans and I feel the calling it's time for deep integration, diving into the Earth's core and re nurturing my life with consciousness.

I haven't watched the entire video yet, but I'm already hearing that they have a rather theoretical background.

From my point of view, the blog post contains many misconceptions, but I'll only address the most important ones for me.

There seems to be an assumption that Christian or Buddhist teachings are limiting. But that's not true once you know how to apply them; it's like psychedelics. The teachings themselves are merely a tool to free the mind. Once that has happend, you can go infinitely deeper; from then on, no specific teachings are really necessary because you know the path and what you need to do to deepen your realisation.

It also sounds like there's no real understanding of what Christ or Buddha stand for, perhaps because it hasn't been recognized through those teachings. Christ is God, Buddha is God. When Christians identify with Christ, it's the same as identifying with God himself—just a different way of saying it. ("I and the Father are one."—John 10:30). The same applies to Buddha, at least that's my view.

And by the way, I also believe that a specific teaching isn't absolutely necessary to truly awaken and maintain that state permanently. But that seems to happen very rarely from what I've seen. I haven't studied Ramana Maharshi very deeply, but it seems to me that he, for example, didn't need specific teachings to achieve it. If someone sees themselves at that level, fine, then just follow yourself.

I appreciate that Leo says at the end that he has no real interest in full enlightenment. I think that's what many people expect when they follow him, at least that's what I did for a while, so thanks for that clarification!

I also admit, my need to understand reality is limited. Since understanding the core of the matter, it's much more important to me to deepen my awakening and to live and embody it; that's what truly satisfies me. I still enjoy deepening my understanding, but it's more of a side effect.

That doesn't mean what you think it means.

The reason I'm not interested in what people call enlightenment is because it is not deep enough to reach God. It took me a long time to figure that out.

A terminological explanation would be nice.

I think about enlightenment as my human waking up.

And God-Realization as the Full God Me Waking Up.

But I’m bad with terms 😉
