Obviously people have done it.

The closest thing to the Awakened comedian you were talking about was Bill Hicks

Though sure we could do better.

Whether you can do it depends on your health, energy levels, work ethic, personality type, and many other factors.

Depends very much on your career and how busy/distracted it makes you.

You can do career in many ways. You can also build up a career and then afford some time off for side pursuits.

Makes sense.

I have to understand my situation better.

Are you going to get Awakened while running a Fortune 500 public company? Probably not.

Yeah, I also think that there will be things that would oppose pursuing that, at least for me.

I'm not even a fan of chasing money or the thought of being some popular or famous person. Not even a typical leader.

I have tasted the forbidden fruit. So it has become way harder to not think of awakening.

You have to strategically design your lifestyle around your top values. There will be difficult tradeoffs because you can't have it all at once. But you can space your goals out over 20-40 years.

Mmmm...

It seems spacing my goals is the smartest approach for me.

I need to reevaluate and self-reflect.

Lately I've been appreciating the potential of Jailbreaking the Mind. Now I see the scope of evolution this can take.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Leo’s blog has been pulling me back to this place!!

(Or did I ever leave )

This is my response to Leo’s recent post on metaphysical love.

A fantastic collection of nondual love poems. I LOVE Ibns poems.

The "I'm not with those clowns" post is very cringe.

I'll make sure to share with the aliens all the woke propaganda that exists in this forum. I'm sure it will change their minds on not eating the bald man.

Great post on love.

Love for me is, the hole exposing the whole.

Can I look at you deep enough, to see the opening that reveals the real?

In time it becomes as easy as breathing air.

Cool song in case you don't know it:

Cringe is a symptom of social anxiety.

The first issue began with The Wherefore of the Worlds (the English following the French), and in it Richard attributed the origin of the world to Desire. They were in perpetual disagreement on this subject, Richard saying, 'It is Desire,' and Sri Aurobindo, 'The initial force of the Manifestation is Joy.' Then Richard would say, 'God DESIRED to know Himself,' and Sri Aurobindo, 'No, God had the Joy of knowing Himself.' And it went on and on like that!

That's such a trivial difference.

Well, desire implies a subject and object, whereas joy is its own thing.

Mirra said her husband Paul Richard was The Devil incarnated into a human, like Brother Justin from Carnivale.

@Leo Gura I have a question, why did God invent the world ? Meaning the physical universe ? Sure i understand it's imaginary as long as we are alive we are in it. Why didn't God just remain in his formlessness, why did he incarnate in form ?

I don't have a specific answer. You cannot explain God in such detail.

Basically God likes to dream because it has nothing else to do.

What would you do if you were formless yet all-powerful? Would you just sit there in a void? No, you would wanna dream up something interesting to entertain yourself.

God can have both. God can exist as a void forever, and then get bored and start dreaming.

So God is like really an conscious intelligent thing that can like things? Or is it more like an impersonal alien force which essence is to create dreams but it's not because it likes it but more because it just can?

God is an infinite ocean of dreams.

It's like you're asking the ocean why it has fish.

When it comes to turning metaphysical comedy into a multi-million-dollar career, Žižek is probably as close as it gets.

Whether that aligns with your idea of "awakening," I can't say - but he's no fool, he's hella funny, and he's definitely raking in millions.

“Did you ever say Yes to a single joy? O my friends, then you said Yes to all woe as well. All things are chained and entwined together, all things are in love; if ever you wanted one moment twice, if ever you said: ‘You please me, happiness! Abide, moment!’ then you wanted everything to return!” - Friedrich Nietzsche

@Leo Gura, in your experience, would you say that awakenings happen because your changed state pushes you to realize something without your will?

For you, how do awakening and contemplation affect each other? Which one actually depends on the other?

@Nilsi Zizek raking in millions? Bro, get real.

Zizek is a confused old man. He ain't anywhere close to God.
