The lessons from Life Below Zero blog vid doesn’t exist anymore. It was one of my favorites. There isn’t very good philosophical material about survival. The video convinced me to move to Alaska one day, I’m getting my pilots license now to be a bush pilot.

It will be back soon. It's down due to the Vimeo problems we've been trying to fix.

A Siamese cat is not an exotic pet. You can easily get one.

I had two sugar gliders as a teen. That was my most exotic pet.

Timely quote given the recent episode on Post Modernism. Points out how being stuck in endless philosophical abstractions and caught up in relativity, can get lead one to being out of touch with the realities of human survival.

Leo only loves dinosaurs because he was 8 years 1 month and 18 days old when Jurassic Park came out.

Anyone who don't like dinosaurs is going straight to Hell.

I used to have lots of prehistoric stuff as a kid. Giant snail fossils, shark teeth, that sort of thing. The most valuable was probably a mammoth tusk, easily worth 5k USD. Now it's all hanging out in some storage unit in Russia :(

There are Christians that believe in dinosaurs because the Bible mentions dragons and leviathans and stuff, so they believe the fossils are real but much newer than the scientists think.

@Leo Gura Do you know of any good dinosaur documentaries worth watching on streaming?
