I completely agree with the latest blog post’s observations about the authoritarian trajectory and the spiritual warnings that seem to have gone unheeded. It’s disheartening, but also a reminder of how easily humanity can miss the opportunity to change its course when the majority remains unaware of their own power to shape reality through their choices, attitudes, and awareness.

Over the last five years, I’ve often used the term ‘false light’ to describe the allure of narratives that claim to offer truth but ultimately pull people further away from their own inner realization. The drastic polarization we’ve witnessed—where individuals flip from leftist ‘woke’ ideals to conspiracy-driven alt-right thinking—highlights how people can be manipulated when they lack personal awareness. It reminds me of the New Age warnings about a ‘pole shift,’ not of the Earths magnetic field itself, but of political and spiritual polarity within humanity. Instead of awakening to their own inner mechanisms, many have simply traded one external narrative for another, still rooted in victimhood and self-validation.

Through plant medicine ceremonies and in spiritual communities, I’ve seen how emotional attachments block the self-awareness needed to break free from these cycles. It’s made me realize the importance of going back to basics—addressing the unawakened stages with compassion and offering spaces where people can slowly untangle their conditioning. Small, intimate sessions that guide people back to their inner awareness seem to be the most effective way forward.

For me, it’s about helping others turn away from external stories and frameworks that dominate their reality and begin seeing from multiple perspectives. This isn’t a battle to win but a journey of fostering understanding, encouraging people to move beyond survival instincts, anger, and victimhood. Even in the face of chaos, I believe it’s possible to find peace and return to love, compassion, and clarity—qualities that remain steadfast when we remember the source within.

No matter the external story, I remain committed to creating spaces for contemplation and temporary refuge. The work is ongoing, but I believe it matters more than ever as the storm approaches.

Political Winter in America

I thought this was a prescient insight about where America is headed. Not sure if its already been dicussed yet but I think its worth creating a seperate thread (perhaps in the politics section) about different things we can do to insulate ourselves from whatever may coming down the pike in this new era for American politics. I especially liked the emphasis on staying calm and poised and not getting stuck into a cycle of pessimism.

Leo's latest blog post about the Indian Caste system is interesting. In retrospect-Indian caste system is a low perspective which lacks self agency and intellectual autonomy. I asked Claud 3 AI about this, here is the response:

The caste system could limit individual agency and intellectual autonomy in several interconnected ways:

Personal identity and aspirations would be significantly constrained by being born into a particular caste, as it predetermined many aspects of life including occupation, marriage prospects, social connections, and cultural practices. This could create internalized limitations on what someone believes they can or should achieve.

The system's religious and philosophical underpinnings teach that one's caste position is the result of karma from past lives. This belief system could lead people to view their current circumstances as deserved or fated, potentially reducing their sense that they can or should work to change their situation.

Educational opportunities were historically restricted based on caste, with many forms of knowledge considered the exclusive domain of upper castes. This direct limitation on learning would restrict intellectual development and exposure to different ideas and perspectives.

Social segregation and endogamy (marriage within one's caste) meant limited interaction between castes, creating intellectual echo chambers and reducing exposure to diverse viewpoints and ways of thinking. This isolation could reinforce accepted beliefs about hierarchy and proper social roles.

The threat of social ostracism or punishment for violating caste norms could create a climate of intellectual conformity, where questioning established hierarchies or pursuing unauthorized forms of knowledge carried significant risks.

Caste system served the primary purpose to entrust the responsibility of certain jobs to sections of society. This was an efficient way to organize civilization at the time.

Because if your father was an expert carpenter, then it makes sense that your son also becomes that way because of the ease of knowledge transfer. This would also mean those who were entrusted to the low status jobs were treated with immense disrespect.

Caste system has no place in the modern world. But you have to understand India for what it is. It is a sophisticated culture.

India managed to evolve all these thousands of year without using the brutal chattel slavery like the west which was orders of magnitude more brutal and oppressive considered to the caste system.

@Bobby_2021 How about this little contradiction in your worldview?

It could be interpreted as sophisticated relative to that culture and those who benefit from it-but there are higher and lower forms of sophistication.

If we were to take a native from the Dalit caste and have them live a life of luxury in the US for a week- their idea of what sophistication would change immensely. They would have an existential crisis and not be able to look at India's caste system the same ever again.

Low perspectives lock you in to prevent you from seeing anything higher. To see higher threatens your attachment to the lower.

Already addressed that here.

Unfortunately I can't fit the entire explanation into a single post. I would need a whole thread for this.

If you want to understand the system, then you need to first step out of it.

Most people can't do that and it's fine. The frustration with the system is totally understandable. I have already said that caste system should be scrapped to oblivion.

But the natural development of the Indian psyche was ransacked by the endless looting, slavery & theft enacted by the British empire.

But hey don't let that stop you from enjoying your plausible deniability.

No one is arguing that the caste system should or should not be "scrapped to oblivion."

We're simply highlighting how social constructions work and how they lock the mind into low perspectives. Of course there is a historic wisdom to the caste system- and it's not just a matter of oppression from some external source.

If anything it is being preserved by indigenous people out of tribal/cultural loyalty to a set of ideas.

Yup. I see it every day. The thing is when your country is composed of ethnically homogeneous population, governance is far easier.

In India there is far from the case. Language, culture, region, sects, caste, sub caste, sub sub caste, and all sorts of ideologies makes it a nightmare to govern. No small feat.

The IMF banking system is peak financial slavery operating at international level. Hope you understand how that works.

This is not west bashing. I could easily return strawman points as if you hate global south but that would be plain reductionism.

That IMF stat got the same vibe as

"China is the biggest cause of carbon emissions in the world. China baad..ooh no climate changeee".

I am like, bro the they pollute the environment to make the phone you are using right now and the rest of the world for that matter.

You can offset your responsibility on them since it's not happening within your borders. This is an integrated global economy.

Already addressed that here.

But why do you think western companie go on to abuse workers there and not in the west? Because they love western people so much and are just racist? No, its because western societies are more developed and have higher standards of worker rights. A random company can't just come along and sart working people death 16 hours a day for 1 dollar.

3rd world societies allow for those companies to come along and abuse thei people like that. Becuase that's already what they standards are. Do you think they local company operate differently? They do the same thing. Apple or whoever is just renting some spots in factories that are owned locally and that also host a lot of local businesses.

@Something Funny Read the blog post again.

Leo asserts that western values will result in less slavery. If China/India outlaws slavery Tommorow US corporations would go bankrupt.

Western values not only use slavery, but also want it for their survival.

Engage further only if you seriously want to get to the root of this.

But they won't. Because they are less developed.

You are talking about imaginary hypotheticals. I am talking reality.

They already did, slavery is illegal there, it occurs because people skirt and bribe around the law.

Exactly, bribe. All these less developed countries are infested with bribery, which makes their laws meaningless.

That just proves low development.

You guys keep trying to argue with me on this, but you are ultimately wrong.

It would wiser if you argued with me less and contemplated the truth behind what I say more. I am teaching you valuable things that are to your benefit to learn.
