I think this thread is the appropriate place to talk about this, but where did Leo go?

He last was on this forum on Saturday.

Latest blog post is ridiculous. Leo talks about Trump as if he's the antichrist or something. Save that kind of rhetoric for Kim Jong Un or leaders that actually ordered the murders of people...

Also, Joe Rogan supports Trump and he's contributed more good to the world than 99% of people. I'm pretty sure history will treat him kindly.

The statement about Harris is an assumption. There is no evidence.

Trump being worse than harris is also an assumption.

It's funny how things are pinned on Harris as if she's the president.

Because it was within her power to stop the genocide. She did nothing.

The moral duty is incumbent upon her to do something, which is what you expect from a president or a vp.

@Leo Gura It's very inspiring! It's inspired me to start a small blog next year to start sharing and inspiring others to explore reality more!

@Leo Gura, is that thought connected to your recent blog posts?

I wonder if this implies that there is an external world, meaning that reality isn’t just all that youre experiencing. For instance, there are many things you don’t experience right now that still exists. Consciousness can hide things from itself. If you think you have total access to reality, then you don’t get it. There are people who can see more color than you, can lift more than you. There are many things hidden. If you had total access to reality, then you couldn’t be human. This is what is meant by external world, that there are things hidden behind the scenes. Whether the substance is consciousness or matter doesn’t matter. It is the fact that you don’t have total access to reality. If you did, then like I said, you couldn’t be the human that you are. To be a human means your reality is limited.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

@r0ckyreed, let's assume by hidden he meant there is an external world.

I would say that things are external as long as you are not conscious of their existence. So, the external doesn't exist but can come into existence, and then it becomes internal.

I don't only think of things being external to be about me having some ability or not, compared to others.

I am still trying to grasp the beautifull text I just read in leo last post about Voters. No comments. The text is brilliant and full of golden nuggets if you have eyes to see.

Question for Leo. @Leo Gura
In your last blog post you emphasized the importance of doing the work that is required in order to become a tier 2 human being.
I am watching you since 2014 with various degrees of frequency. But I am not well aware of what this "Work" entails. As far as my understanding of the work consists of:
1. Reading a lot about subjects such as economy, how politics works, capitalism, and so on and the books in your book list.
2. Meditating, contemplating, researching, and observing reality as is.
3. Working on your life purpose.
But here my understanding of the "Work" you mention ends.
If you are in the mood, Please write a response to this comment with all the things that are required to be done on a daily basis so we can say we are doing "The Work" in a complete manner.

Yeah.

I wholeheartedly agree that the problem is people's ignorance, mine included.

Who would want to actually admit that they are stupid? Hardly anyone.

Leo's latest text post on political lessons was poetry.

I have nothing else to add right now.

"Finding your reason can be so deceiving, a subliminal place.

I will not break, 'cause I've been riding the curves of these infinity words and so I'll be on my way. I will not stay.

And it goes On and On, On and On"

The trap you are falling into is needing Leo’s approval on if you’re doing the work the right way or not. Don’t let Leo dictate how you should do the work.

@Yimpa I'm not needing his approval. I think I miss some important aspects from his teachings about the inner work one should do! Due to the fact that I literally forgot, and I currently don't have the time to re-watch all the important videos.

When people say @Leo Gura  is all into politics now and doesn't speak on other topics like Spirituality as much, his latest blog post about the voting system says it all. That was pact filled with information and very intensely researched. The psychology of any system can tell us a lot about how that system was formed and how it works. Intense stuff. Never underestimate the power of the mind and it's survival mechanisms. It will fool even you and leave you in awe of your own ability to bullshit yourself.

Very well written and pact with very deep psychology on the nature of the voters' mind.

I wish I could send that latest blog post to every political pundit YouTuber and influencer that cares to understand why trump won and have them read it.

That was an excellent analysis of the average American voter and I will say I never shit on Harris as a hard lefty myself I always tried to talk her up despite all the problems because we are never going to form a coalition  with the right or maga but we could easily try with the center.

I know we don’t always get what we want but so much of it is not going to come from electoral politics and you have to use your voice in other ways. No one political figure will save you like the blog post says, you need to organize and mobilize based on your compassion wisdom and consciousness for fellow humanity.

as a comment on the election I was annoyed just how right wing the dems became on the border and courting republicans I wish they would’ve offered Palestine a bone or tried to explain to voters that mass deportations would hurt the economy but I don’t know if that would have worked, maybe their bed was made for them before and couldn’t have swung even though it was close in the swing states.

Things will get a lot worse before they get better.

I don’t think we will ever defeats the fascists unless their is a coalition between the center and the left like in France and I think the center needs to be more welcoming they are quite scared of trans rights and Palestine and raising the federal minimum wage and other rights etc.

ultimately genuinely scared for the country and the next four years and annoyed that falsehood and corruption is winning but not giving up and going to do all I can to fight back

First off, it was nice to see a lengthy piece of content from Leo again, and I can agree with the issues of the public voting on personality over policy and the reasons he gave for it. And yes, Bernie Sanders or Jill Stein are much more preferable choices to Trump and Harris but in the stupid 2 party system, voting for a 3rd party is the equivalent of throwing your vote away unfortunately.

What I can't agree with is this constant demonization of Trump and calling him the pinnacle of corruption. Specific examples of corruption aren't given, and in biased fashion we're never given any evidence to the contrary. The Trump family has donated an enormous amount of money to noble causes and his book The Art of the Deal has inspired countless businesspeople and helped them pursue their goals. Doesn't that count for anything when evaluating his character?

I reject the idea that Trump voters have not even "bugun to understand" this work. Although I don't actively support Trump, I still voted for him because he was the lesser of two evils (between him and Kamala). Harris WOULD have been worse for our country in my opinion as a voter. Just because I have that opinion doesn't make me unconscious or underdeveloped.

You’ve been in the forum since 2018 and this is where you’re at with understanding Trump?

See, you are the perfect example of Leo’s blogpost.
